You just came up, hey, Jack, and I heard the voice before I saw you were coming at me, you were coming across my bow there, and I went, who's... Oh, Mike! I knew who it was, but I was totally surprised. How are you doing? You have a good time at Field Day? Yeah, hey, Jack. Yeah, excellent time. Probably one of the best Field Days I've been to, really because of all the components. I mean, the setup was excellent. It was a really good crowd, of course, PSRG people, which are a lot of fun to be around, and really friendly people, so I really enjoyed that. KB8, BMY, hey Mike. How's it going? And 33 to Courtney. Hey Rebecca. I'm doing good. Courtney's downstairs with her mother talking of all kinds of stuff. Recipes or whatever they're talking about. And other stuff. And I'm working on getting an all-star node running. So I've got the PI loaded, it's working. I've got a connection to a radio here. And now just kind of figuring out what else I need to configure on this thing. These things are really complicated. There's a lot of stuff to one of these that I realize that. So anyway, I looked at statistics, it has a little graph, but everything's kind of neat. So still in the process of configuring this and figuring it out, but it's pretty neat. Pretty interesting stuff here. Looks like my Raspberry Pi is doing its thing. So these are just neat little, I love these little devices, they're slick. So anyway, that's about it, we're just doing that. We'll see how we do it. Takes a little while to figure out how to configure this. But anyway, having a lot of fun. We'll pass it back to you, I've been listening to the net. So in the background here as I've been doing this. So everyone have a good afternoon. And seven from the Woods and Lacey, KB8PMY. Mike, I'm not sure how I missed it, but what are you configuring? Back to you, KB8PMY, KK7IJZ. I'm in the process of setting up an all-star node. Normally I come in on a web transceiver, but I thought, hey, why don't I see if I can, if I can make my own all-star node here. So I have a Raspberry Pi, I have a, it's kind of like a sound card connector, it's an AIOC. And that will hit the PTT on a transceiver. And so I've just configured the AIOC and loaded the all-star, I guess it's ASL3 on a Pi. And now I'm looking at a, I guess this is a terminal control board or something that links to it. And I'm just looking at how to configure it. So it's a lot to take in at once, but it's pretty interesting stuff. Anyway, that's what I'm doing, KB8PMY. Got it, that's what I thought that you said. I don't know how I missed it, but yeah. Well, honestly, well, that's cool. I love that you're doing that. That's a fun radio project. You're always getting into something, that's great. And yeah, tell Courtney I said hello and have fun with her mom, you're in-laws. And yeah, enjoy putting together the Raspberry Pi and listening to the net in the background. That's fun, Mike. Thank you so much for checking in. It's always good to hear from you. And yeah, let us know how it's going. And give us a holler if you need any help with anything. You know there's tons of people that put together all those Raspberry Pis and soundboards and such. By the way I just found it, it surely isn't me, but there are lots of other folks. So yeah, well that's great Mike, 7-3. And have a great weekend. All right, next is DJ, KG7QEO. Hey DJ, how are you doing? Over to you. Good afternoon, this is Tyler, you're seven quite excellent operators. Name here is DJ Delto Juliet. How can we? DJ, wherever you are, you sound like a perfect angel. Please come ahead with your report. Well I do try. Um, this is KU of Lufthansa, get back here for a while, just KG7QEO. Well, the uh, solar panel came in today, or yesterday. I've got my boyfriend here with me at my friend's shack. I call it the shack. It's mostly road signs. But it is a building structure of sorts. And it is a winter roll. It's got a bed and a couch. And now a projector, and now we got power outlets. Eventually, the batteries are charging. May not be done today, but who knows. Still figuring out placement of that solar panel. Ideally 100 watt would be better, because then you know, for sure it would be done in one day. But you know, 30 watts. Call sign in name, RF, and internet. Whiskey zero, x-ray Oscar. W zero, Q above low eight, Bravo, Mikey, X zero, G, Y, good afternoon. W zero, X zero, Jonathan, got you and I got Mike, KB8, B, M, Y. Mike, did you need to go ahead? Thanks, I appreciate that. But you can go ahead and pick up the zero land station and I'll go after him. Yeah, KB8, B, M, Y. Okay, Ron, well then I'll take more stations. I think that was a triple. So who was that behind Jonathan and Mike? That would be me. Me, WQ7H, this is James. Hi, James. Got you on the list. More stations, please. Alright, come on, Jonathan. W zero, X zero. What's going on? Hey, how are you, Rebecca? I'm using UV17R, Bao Feng. And last couple days in the old place cleaning things up, spackling holes in the walls. And I've been driving back and forth from Everett to Seattle. And just really had a great weekend. A lot of good stuff happened over the weekend. It was all the stuff that involved sweating and working. And I love hard work because there's always an easy success. You know when you've done it. And I don't know the difference between a vole and a mole, to be honest with you. I wish I did. I used to live with these ornithologists when I lived down in Olympia and they were horticulturists as well. But their ornithology involved them putting mole and vole carcasses in the freezer. And they would stretch them over a toilet paper roll sometimes. And it was part of their study. So, um, moles and voles, big topic. Anyway, back to you, Rebecca. Great to hear your voice. 73W0XO in Maple Leaf. Well, cool. The final days at the Maple Leaf house. Now you are a resident of Everett. Well, that's great, Jonathan. Thank you so much for checking in. And I'm glad that the move went well. Hello. And, uh, yeah, it's good to hear from you, Jonathan. Have a great day. And 73. Next on the list is Mike, KB8BMY. Hey, Mike, how's the road treating you? Hey, Rebecca. Good to hear you and good to hear you running from that. And right now I'm, uh, I'm pulled over. I'm at the rest stop just south of the water park. I figured I'd stop here and take lunch and then head up to Seattle to say I'm going to Dairy Gold. And it's kind of neat when you go up there, too. They have pictures of cows all over. And they're prompt to tell you that all cows aren't the same. So, they look like happy cows. So, I'm heading up there for another hour after I finish lunch here. And traffic's not too bad so far. I think the sign says it's 35 minutes to Seattle. I think going south is starting to bog up. And we had a real good weekend. It was a lot of fun. In fact, we checked into the new net from TOME. And it was a nice spot on the beach. A good place to operate from. And, um, kind of messed with that. Messed around with APS, APRM, and some other, uh, getting some stuff done on our calls. So, I guess I'm in, I guess this is Federal Way. So, Federal Way 5. It's overcast. 70, my flubbers is 73 degrees, but it's probably cooler. And, uh, so not a bad day. Pretty comfortable. But, anyway, really good to hear you running the net. And, uh, thanks for, uh, picking me up, too, in case I had a short transmission mobile. But we are stationary for now. Three, everyone have a good afternoon. KPA, BMW Mobile. Thank you for your check-in, Mike. Yeah, that's great. Mobile's safe out there. It's, you know, it's overcast. It's so sunny over here. I got it at your house. It's sunny as well. But, um, yeah, I need to go back to TOME State Park. Maybe that's something Leo and I can do this week. Um, yeah, now that the weather's getting a tad cooler. But, yeah, that would be fun. Um, well, 73, Mike, it's good to hear you. Right? Mobile's safe out there. And just in case Courtney's listening, 33, Courtney. Mike's wife is the Snack Queen. She's amazing. Amazing. Anyway, 33, Courtney. All right, next on the list is James. Yeah, hey Jack, how's it going? And good afternoon to everyone on the net. We're up in Mount Vernon and I've been up here in a while. And so I'm at a place right now waiting to get unloaded, then we're going to run down to Everett. And just had gracious dining at Mike's corner office. And I got the TRX out, so I'm doing some exercise with the TRX. And we're down to, let me see, I weighed myself this morning, 174. Trying to stay in a 3408 and I think we're going to do it. And just to make sure, because the weather isn't always this way all the time here, I got an exercise bike, a really nice one. And I have that up in the loft. And so putting that together this week. And so that'll work out real good. And I think I can tie it, the app with that, I can somehow bridge it or connect it with the app I use on my e-bike. And that way, either way, if I'm biking indoors or outdoors, I can have my miles for each one, or miles combined and what have you. So it'll be really good and it's a good party to work out. And I hesitate to do a lot of jogging and I never have done jogging because every time I think, oh I'll do jogging, you know, another friend of mine says he messed up his joints or something like that. And this is like back when I was in my 30s. Guys my age were like, yeah I messed up my joints, I can't do that. And so I just like walk faster, a bike rider, a roller skate. And so some good cardio but low impact. And so that's kind of helping and it's benefited me now, that's for sure. So anyway, we put that together, so we're doing good, staying in shape here. And we'll probably use some more reps on the TRX here while we're listening to the vet. We've got a beautiful day here, I can't see any clouds in the sky at all here. It's sunny, I want to say it's somewhere in the low 70s right now. And humidity seems kind of low too, so it's real nice. So anyway, Jack, we'll pass it back to you, thanks for picking me up.
