I remember here even just recently going on your QRZ page and taking a look at your critters there. So, well that's bittersweet that you got yourself a new pup. I think you said a red lab? Huh, I haven't seen a red lab, but I'll bet that's probably a pretty fascinating color if that's what you said there. But, well that's great. Well we still have Prince over here. And for anybody that's curious to know what Prince is all about, he's half lab and half pet. He's a rescue. He's 10 years old now. And on my QRZ page, ji5wza at qrz.com. There's a couple of pictures of Prince. One where he's wearing his dinner jacket. So, check it out. He's sitting here, we just got back from running errands and he came along with us. So he's still a little hot, it's 95 degrees out here. And whatever that is, and salty as I have to look it up. At any rate, so it's warm out there. But we just walked in the door and we're just sitting down to a late lunch or early dinner. But I'm gonna put Shirley on here and let her say hi as she's clearing her throat here. Who am I speaking? That's Graham. Graham, hi Graham. This is KJ5STB. Glad to hear you out there. I so enjoy listening to you. And I listen to Dave too as well. And the two of you really. I just love your accents, love your boyies. He's just so cusing. Shirley says that she could have you speak to her and you could probably get her to fall asleep listening to your voice. Tell me a story. You have such a soothing voice. And she says he could tell me a story any night to help you sleep. So, okay, well there's that I suppose. But anyway, it was Dave that reminded me to get on and. Okay. Over your slot after you wrap up the first half of the net. So I'll be probably trying to check in with him again. He's been checking into three of our nets out here in Mexico here. We have the SCAT net, the Rusty's Raiders net, and we have the TB0WMA's YSF reflector net. And so Dave's been checking into all three nets. And I'll tell you what, according to Paul, that's just, that's KB0WMA. He was just so tickled to hear Dave in there. So if you're on this one just pop it on the blue screen in the aim window that you'd like to get checked in. And myself or whoever's on at the time will add you to the list. No problems at all. I always keep an eye on the aim window from whatever net. Feel free to check in with Graham for the first half of the net if you're a bit on the first half. I don't think it does. That's the other thing. I got to check and see if mine is set up for timeout timers, but ultimately it wasn't just a reflector or some other Raspberry Pi stuff that these devices latched right onto that IP address, and I literally wouldn't let it go, and I had to clean it up, but literally now I've got all these on those turn on, turn off wall sockets, so I'm able to manipulate to manipulate that. So if I'm not here and somebody says they want to do the reflector and it's not connecting, like John will call me up, KFIYF, then I can say, okay, let me shut it off, turn it back on. Boom, it'll boot right back into the system and it should clean itself up. Anyways, with that in mind, you did hear on the reflector net that Shirley was there and then all of a sudden when I called her again on the reflector, she wasn't there was she got in contact with me via text today message and I found out that her I thought her batteries went out on the m1 ke that was Keith's no not the case I think you've heard before were that Keith needed to have it repaired because he pushed too hard on the push to talk button and broke it I think really did the same thing so I got John involved with us to try and help out to fix that problem so hopefully we'll get her back on the air and then I have to to help her get her DMR ID and D-Star ready so we can start transferring her call sign into all those radios that Keith have. Let me break again. Actually, I'll just go back to you for comments. This is repeater station kilo, kilo seven. November, Quebec... Yeah, KV0WMA from W8S set up. Yeah, I've got those Wi-Fi plugs as well. I use TAPO, or or you might pronounce them as Tate, Otango, Alpha, Papa, Oscar. They work quite well. They didn't take over before, but they did remind me of something. My ISP normally does router software updates in the middle of the night and they did one a couple of nights ago and you know, they just go through without no problems whatsoever. They actually screwed up my port forwarding file. I do have a whole backup of everything when I have a chance to put it back in. Yeah, if I want to echo link on the RMB7IFM-SL, I can receive perfectly, but when I go to transmit, it doesn't go through the echo link bridge. Of course, that's fine. I got to go and redo, restore the backup, and that should hopefully fix everything, I haven't got round to doing it because everybody's using the internet here. So I might do that if I'm awake in the early hours of the morning and everybody else is asleep or not playing on the internet. So yes, I do remember Keith breaking the M1KEPTT. So it looks like Shirley's in the same. Oh dear, dear, dear, dear. And still can't believe that we've lost Keith there as well there, Paul. So sad, but unfortunately, those things happen, but it's great to hear Shirley on the air. That's for sure, and yes, you'll have to sort that out with everything and all the radios. I'm actually surmising that Keith has loads and loads and loads of different radios for all over the place as well. It's not going to be taking a little bit of time to start them all out there with Shirley's call and DMR ID. I'm not sure if you had an All Star note. I don't know that one. I never did check. Here's called the New Mexico's Multimodenets on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. That's local time. So that's definitely one in the morning over there with, across the pond. So if you happen to have insomnia here awake, come on in and have some fun with the net. It is on a bunch of different ways you can get in as well like this net here. We have a question of the week and we usually talk about it. If you're interested, you can email me with my call sign, kb0wma. And I will just bombard you with a bunch of information of how to get in, what the net is all about. And then if you would like to be on a regular email reminder, just let me know. I'll put it on the email reminder list at the net. And it also has a question in that reminder email so you're up front with the question. I hate being blindsided by questions. So you think about it and then investigate it, whatever you like to say, and then have a good conversation around that."}]}
