"text": " Thanks for the question. I've been for a few years now trying to learn some of the home arts. I don't have a canning operation so it's going to be a fridge jelly. I've done some pickling and I've run a pretty good garden on my south facing balcony on the fourth floor in Wallingford with tomatoes and cucumbers and stuff. But this is from another garden and she's got too many grapes and too many apples. I've got a bag of apples so I'm going to try and figure out something to do too. Probably an apple butter for the simplest. So no, it's not an annual tradition. I'm looking to find the balance between fun and value. Time spent. This time of year as a tourism professional, my work professional paid off site. What they call off farm labor in the statistics is cutting down a lot. So I'm trying to do something valuable with my time that we can enjoy for the weeks and months coming forward. So I hope that answers that question. No, it's not an annual tradition but I don't know if it goes really well. Maybe next year too. KI7RYW. KI7RYW, K7WFC. Well David, that sounds great. You've got a little slow down in your regular employment. You've got to figure out how to use your time and enjoy it and make something worthwhile. That's great. I love the idea you're in Wallingford with a four floor balcony but you're kind of like a farmer. Like you're out in the booties doing all this nice stuff. That's just great. Thanks David. Make my day. Let's go back and have a recheck with Mike. Mike, come ahead."

"text": " Boy, thank you. Yeah, it's a pretty quiet night seems rather warm I mean my house is all warm Peter's been off all day. You know I turn them off in the morning weather like this and It's really comfortable out here. Yeah, let's see 59 yeah 58 59 it's about right 80% humidity. Yeah, it's good. It's funny though There's these bursts of wind that come in Pretty high in the trees it looks like that what is going to come in tomorrow like they say and rain for a week, huh? Okay, I was kind of hoping it would hold off another week or two, but we'll get maybe another break could be it's early enough and Yeah, I was coming down from the garage and turn on the radio and heard these one and twos here Yeah, I was coming down from my tunnel of vegetation in the dark it from my garage Now my switchback and The owls were just dueling out there and and also the dog barking in response So it was like two owls and a dog just kind of bark bark bark bark. Oh whoo hoo hoo and all that stuff. It was just a Quiet now Gets a dog calm down So back to you and have a nice summer night. I think also that I heard ceremonial I sound like drums at the end of 35th there On the other side of the canal where they have a settlement and I hear them now and then on the weekends especially It's kind of nice kids. I'm veu 73 everyone Well Mike I'm curious here you talk about the canal and and and the noise you must mean the Clubs and all in Fremont I guess and I I hear him too up on Queen Anne here But then you're talking about apples which made you think you're somewhere out in the boonies Where are you located and where all these owls?"

"text": " Oh, I'm sorry. No, that's right now. The reason I know this with that particular one is I've got this app on my phone. I think it's called Go Sky Watch. And what you do is just point your iPhone in a particular direction, and you can just see the whole map of the sky roll with wherever you put it. And right now it's showing Saturn and Neptune basically right on top of each other. So if somebody had a really good telescope, maybe they could get a pretty interesting picture. I don't know. KG7ODD. KG7ODD, K7WFC. Well, great. Yeah, I have one of those apps, an Android app on my phone. And that is fun. You can just lie in bed and look at this guy. A little pointless. No, it isn't pointless. You learn where stuff is. So if you ever go outside, then you can see it. Well, we seem to be slowing down considerably. I think I'm going to make this the final call. So the final call for the 9 p.m. PSRG social. That final call. This is K7WFC. Your last chance to join us. Come ahead now with your call sign and name. KV9IQX, Amy. KV9IQX, Amy. How nice to hear from you. Who else is out there? Final call."
