Because you don't want to have to deal with that if an emergency happens and you have to divert and you end up in a country without a passport. So it is a requirement to have a passport on you at all times. And we don't get pre-cleared for customs but we do get our own special line which definitely streamlines the process. We don't have to wait with the other two or three hundred other people, we just kind of skirt on through to the final line. So it saves a little time but definitely still a thing. I have to go up to the little kiosk and take a picture and that picture is always very humbling after a long day. And then we hand our little sheet as we walk out to the shuttle there. But yeah, no I have my passport. I do have a Chinese visa that is expiring that I have never used. I think that expires in 2028. I had to have that when I was based in San Fran because they do fly to China. So since I am over here in Boston flying all domestic, I don't have to have anything. We never really leave the country except for domestic international which is like Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Nicaragua, kind of stuff like that. We don't consider that full international because we are not going very far. But anyhow, I am rambling. I will throw it back to you. KJ7WQI. OK, I did not know you had a special line for flight attendants and crew. That is amazing. OK? It certainly does make it a lot easier for you and gets you off to the next flight in a relatively short amount of time apparently. All right, well good luck there Matt. Well, thank you very much for doing the caretaking that you need to do. I know that's very important to people who need that. So thank you for doing that. And that's nice. That's really cool to hear. Yeah, I remember the preamble for that net is always dedicated to the silent keys. So yeah, sounds like your friend was really, really awesome, really helpful. So yeah, I will say may his memory be a blessing. And I remember, yeah, you know, I had gotten back into ham radio around 2020, actually. And so on my first trip back to Chicago since the beginning of the pandemic, let's see, that was so I would have been back there in 2021, since I got into ham radio, back into ham radio after like 20 years absent. Anyway, it was just kind of scanning and I found that net and I was like, wow, these are just the friendliest people. So it reminds me that repeater reminds me a lot of this one here the PS RG, as jack k i seven RMU like say so many friends all in one place. And yeah, I remember speaking of silent keys. Yeah, talking to have a poly such as he was so fun to talk to. So yeah, great people on that repeater. And yeah, sometimes I you know, dial in via all stars. So yeah, thanks. Thanks to this great technology, we can all stay connected. This is repeater station key very good. Yeah, you know, one out of node 6222 was very good friend of mine in Washington, I were close. And let's go ahead and do some announcements before we get more stations here. And unlike many times, I have a tab, but there it is. So a couple things to consider. As I mentioned earlier, tomorrow's new net will be a live one, so to speak. And that, sorry, I deliberately sequester Facebook to a single device, which is not a computer. So, yeah. Tomorrow's new net will be transmitting live from Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. And we'll have a special edition of the new net as Sean VK3KK, visiting from Australia, teams up with Jack, K7RMU to co-host this international event. So either stop by or stop by virtually via the net. And we've got the next educational meeting this Saturday, November 8th, satellites in the ISS, 1.30 p.m. on Zoom, amateur radio in space, operating ham radio satellites in the ISS, presented by Mike Thomas, KBA, B.M.Y. for now to work ham radio satellites using modest equipment, including focusing on the ISS. So, yeah, sure, if you're at all interested in that, good meeting to attend. I'm sure it will be a great presentation. Finally, the weekend before Thanksgiving, warm up those radios for the repeat-around about. Make some contacts, discover local clubs, go all the way around the repeaters in the area. The event is a casual repeater-based contest that's also very beginner-friendly. Join us on November 27th and 23rd. And you can visit the website at repeaterroundabout.com. You can find a link at psrg.org. To get to that, if you're not sure how to spell that, it's pretty easy to spell. But, yeah, let's go ahead and move on to getting some more stations. I'm used to the Pacific Northwest. Ham radio wise, so I'm still playing with a ham clock issue. Well actually it's not ham clock. I've got ham clock to work and it's the DX cluster box I learned about. What that does is when someone comes and they're connected to any of the clusters they transmit automatically via their computer their call sign and what frequency they're on and then they can ascertain by the frequency what mode they're running. So if you're chasing somebody like the expedition or call sign that you need, a country you need, it's easier to find them. Well that all works. The other thing where I'm trying to get it to work is in my logging program and one mm and that it does that to telnet and I got through the whole telnet thing it's working on my computer I can communicate via telnet but I can't get the program to work. There's a switch. There's a box I don't have checked. I don't know what it is. I've checked it over about 10 times. So, yeah, that's my latest headache, but it's a minor one.
