Kami here, KJ7RAB. I have been so sick, John. I was sick all weekend. I was sick last week. And I'm finally on the upswing here, hopefully. I started feeling better last week, and then it got worse. So I'm cautiously optimistic. Robert so kindly hosted the Net Solo yesterday because I was crashed and doing a crash and burn at that time, which I guess I really needed, which was all weekend. And I'm kind of bummed because the weekends are time to not work. And I kind of slept through the whole thing. So maybe I'll get a proper weekend this upcoming weekend. Oh, because this weekend is the rain or shine at Gas Works, I believe. So I need to figure out something clever to do for that. Sorry, I'm thinking out loud here. It's been a bit of a blur. This is a 7 J X and Robert Currently mobiling our way back home from the right in area right in Newcastle, whatever the heck you want to call this area We're in It is dark outside imagine that Incredible day Woke up got to sleep in a little bit. I didn't sleep in too much the dogs prevented that from happening but and excuse me, I'm trying to look at my map as I also talk on the radio here. So looking at my lap, looking at the radio, looking at my windshield. So, okay, I got a lot going on. Yeah, just heading home. It's been a fantastic day. We did a little bit of thrift shopping, went and saw my grandparents, and then went and had a fantastic Friendsgiving. Incredible group of friends, I will definitely say, and so many different hobbies that we're all involved in together made it a lot of really good conversations. So some faces I haven't seen in a while, which was really nice to see. And some just absolutely incredible food. Oh my goodness. There's a time of year where, you know, I don't care what kind of diet you want to be on, don't try, just eat. Enjoy the food. It's way better than trying to count carbs, which I don't do anyway, but there you go. But I had two full plates of food. I did neglect to have any desserts because I overate myself on the main course and, well, I guess I did have a little bit of dessert. I brought some liquid apple pie and that was some very good stuff, a little too easy to drink and luckily I didn't have enough of it to wear it and that has impaired me and I am good to do what you do my friend, very much appreciate you and hope you all are doing great and Andrew we passed you in Lake Stevens my friend so I don't know if you had just left that accident in Arlington we will through there or if we happen to catch up to you shortly after you left it but yeah we passed you right as you approaching the Lundin intersection there. So yeah, I knew it was you because this is KJ7JS and back to you, my friend. Thank you, Robert. Yeah, well, you start your Thanksgiving early. You're chowing down, getting practicing, warming up for next week, I guess it is. And yeah, no dessert. I don't know about that. I'd rather skip the turkey and have apple pie. But you had liquid apple pie. I have never heard that That description, unless it's a trade name, I haven't come across. We're loving you a bit at the end, and I'll just tell you that because Candy may be kind of rough. Candy, maybe you want to do an audio check before you get into it and just see how you're doing. Kami here, KJ7RAB, and I feel bad taking cuts in line. So there's that. I love to overthink everything and feel guilty about everything, so there you go. Just here working and lurking, Rebecca, the wind blew so hard yesterday. I felt like I was on the set set of the Wizard of Oz, I thought the house was going to pick up and blow away. Thankfully it didn't, and it just did angry rain. So, you know, Wizard of Oz wins an angry, angry rain. A tree near a school over here fell over, and I'm glad that none of the trees in my area fell over. I've had a tree fall on my house before, not this house but my previous house and that was no fun major ordeal but yeah we'll see what the day brings I don't have any plans other than you know a big outing to go to the post office and who knows what else but I'll be here working and lurking and listening I concur with you on on the haircuts and the teeth cleaning I love of both of those things, too. Nothing better. Nothing better. And I love my stylist, but he's so far away, and he books up about two months or three months in advance, so you really got to do some planning in order to get in, but he is so worth it. I'd be curious to hear, do you have a specific stylist that you go to, Or do you go to a bunch of different places? What are your thoughts on that? All the numbers to you. Thanks for hosting. Thanks for getting me in and thanks for everything that you do KJ7 RAB back to neck control This is repeater station kilo kilo 7 November Quebec November all-star node 6 2 2 2 located in Shelton, Washington I guess the one thing I really do is keep up with my bangs. When I shaved my head a few months ago, my sister did that. But we all, everyone here, we like to cut our own hair or cut each other's hair. Leo and his mom cut his hair. And yeah, Leah and I are both kinda growing out our hair now. In Louisiana, a good friend of mine was a hairstylist and she would cut my hair. And she had these long, get in there and just like scratch my head, let her do whatever. I've never been particular about haircuts other than I like having bangs. And other than that, there was a hairstylist I was going to at the Rudy's in the U District in Seattle, but she was displaced during the pandemic. But yeah, hair, hair, hair, and everything. Cammie here, CJ7RAB. Wow. I can't believe it's Friday, and it's already halfway through the day. I don't know if you heard my check-in on Lake Washington, but I'll share what I shared with Eman, who was hosting. I've been on the phone solid all morning long, and I didn't look at the time. I've got my radio here next to my work desk. I turn the volume down when I'm in a meeting or on the phone. When I'm able to, I turn the volume up. It's usually on the node. I'm coming in on RF right now, but I keep it on the node because the receive is a lot more clear. The node is programmed to take me around to different nets, if you will, so I don't have to tell it to do so. Robert's got it programmed. It takes me to PSRG for the morning nets, and then it takes me over to Lake Washington at 11, and it takes me back to PSRG at noon. I didn't look at the time, and I heard Eman's voice, and I thought, wow, Eman's hosting the 9 a.m. net on PSRG. Then I looked at the time and realized, no, she's not, or no, they're not, because it's after 11 o'clock. And how did that even happen? So, checked in and told on myself, and now I'm telling on myself again that I neglected to look at the time and didn't know exactly what night I was listening to and made the incorrect assumption. But I've got to get a lot of stuff done here before the end of the day. And even if I don't, you know, it's not the end of the world, I can do some work this weekend to kind of get caught up, but there's just so much going on. But it's all good. It's the new normal, if you will, and I'm accustomed to it, but it's just a lot right now. But thanks for hosting, and thanks for getting me in, and thanks for all that you do.
