"text": " Alpha Echo Seven Micrometer. My first HT was a VX8R with the microphone and the GPS, the little GPS sitting on the microphone. I really, really, really miss that microphone, I'll tell you. I could put the radio where I wanted it, like between two pieces of metal on the Harrisburg Bridge over here and get into our repeaters. I usually have to go home and get on my HF radio with it. Diane is not the first one to be lost in the family. My dad went a couple years ago at 87 plus two days. Of course, what I have is what he had, what was his Parkinson's. I know what I got to do to keep myself. I keep telling everybody I want to become the new eggs in the food. My son went to Portland the other day and I sent him up there to get me a new FTX1F. He chickened out. I think he chickened out. He said he got sick, but I got a feeling he chickened out. He's my new judiciary through the VA. Anyway, I was wanting somebody independent of the family, but it happened the way it happens so things can change. That's the way it is, I guess. Gosh darn it, I know there's something else. There always is. Alpha Echo 7 micrometer. Thank you for bringing me in because you can't pick me up. Where else can we take a trip? Not with the ranch. East Haven MR Bank."

"text": " We had a nice aggressive carrier there, but no person behind it. Let's We'll wait for that person to find the voice and in the meantime We'll go up to the top of the list and talk to Peter k6ra X from Santa Cruz come ahead Hey, good evening everybody. It sounds like you guys had a great day at the rain and shine And I can't believe you said this is a seventh round and it's only 22 after We had our take Meeting today that was from 10 to 12 It was a little cool when we got there and they kept saying rain rain all you know maybe 30 to 50 percent chance and about Eight minutes to 12 when we were just thinking about breaking up We started getting raindrops and then it sort of drizzled all the way home. So we lucked out again Yeah, otherwise it was pretty pleasant we had Probably a dozen and half the people were all doing Mesh stuff that you know with the equipment they got and things they have been experimenting with so that's been real popular down here And Jeff this weather seemed to be better than ours and I don't have a setup like he does that You know, I don't get out. I don't do zoom or any of that stuff on the computer So I don't get to see things. I haven't even checked the cute mic you Rz account in five years, so I miss out and seeing all you guys or anybody else But something I need to work on so back to net k6 ra f Well, thank you Peter yeah, all right our readers I was kind of like that also Where the weather the weather held off just long enough for us to even though it was more dramatic weather But yeah, we did. Okay a little wind at the end, but that was about it I mean a lot of we were I was talking a lot of mesh today a lot of people Yeah, it's kind of a fun thing. It's not even you don't even need a hand license, but It's RF and a lot of people doing solar and that's just sort of inherently interesting. Thank you so much Let's move ahead and talk to my very good friend and sometime co-host rich rich you out there. We are traveling tonight"

"text": " Good evening, Paul and everyone. Can I be see Brooks here in Newcastle? Doing pretty good tonight. Not a whole lot going on this evening. Let's see, what had worked today was nice and sunny. It drove out to Ballard and back. So that was a pretty easy one there. And then, let's see. We went out to dinner at Red Robin. Oh, that reminds me. I had a milkshake to go, and it's still in the freezer. Oh my gosh. See, this is what I needed to check in for. Reminded myself. Yeah, outside of that, we're just kind of hanging out today. And I guess we had a busy weekend because my sister was in town with our niece, Leila, who's nine months old. Almost 10 months old, so we had a busy weekend with the baby. And then, you got to see a whole bunch of families. Had a lot of people over. So it's just sort of like kind of relaxing back into the normal weekday, I guess you could call it. So that's what we got going on here. Please mark Megan down as an I.O. K9MLR. She sends radio waves. And with that, I'm going to go find that milkshake, because like I said, I just remembered that it was in there. Thanks for doing that, Paul73. K9, BBC."
