I do of course have our regular club announcements that I'm going to go through at this time. We have several nets that you might be interested in. We have a 40 meter nightly net that's on 30 nights a week coming through Friday at 7pm Central Time. That's on 7264 MHz, 7.264 MHz, whichever way you prefer. And plus or minus 10 kiloheads or so. Up or down for QRM conditions. Sometimes we have to go wider than that so if you don't find it with 10-10 you might have to go up or down a little farther. You can always check online and look at net loader. Just our net locker account will work. And the screen that comes up there will show you the current nets and what frequency they're on. So that's a convenient way to find any of our nets when they're on. We also have a 40 meter net that's on 2 nights a week. That's a Western net. It's scheduled at 8.30pm Pacific Time which makes it 10.30 or 11.30 Central or Eastern Time. So it's late for the Easter years but it's big time for the Westerners and anybody's welcome to check into it if you can reach it. They have a hard time getting to the East Coast and likewise if you're on the East Coast you have a hard time getting to the West Coast. But if you can make it then you're welcome to check in. We have a 20 meter net that's on 2 days a week. I once tracked it before the bet. It's on 11.15 Central Time. 11.15am Central Time. That's on 14.283 plus or minus 15 kilohertz. That's on Tuesday through Thursday at 11.15am Central at 14.283 kilohertz. Megahertz 14.283. Megahertz I should say. That's on 14.92 or 11.00pm. And we have this of course on Thursday nights at 8pm on Central on the Southeast Link. And we have a video net that's on on Tuesday nights at 8pm Central Time. And for that you need a web link and go to our website to get your time on. So try to read them here. You can go to armyreo.com on that website. It's listed right there with the rest of the net right smack it in the middle of the page toward the top. That's the only other thing I've got to announce is that we have a fall rally coming up. The 2025 ROV radio network fall of all rally will be October 12 through 17 in Brawny Lake RV Resort in San Antonio, Texas. That's September 12 through 17. The information is on our website. There's a link right there that you can click to get the complete information and get registered. And we'll reset it again. Alright that's all of our regular announcements. I guess I need to acknowledge the stations that we have so far. On my list I have JOT0, HAA, NOLA, NOLA, and such is working. We're going to ask you to say a few words anyway. KG9NG, Sam is checked in. KF1T, Robert checked in. He's got him out. He's got him out early in the morning for us. He didn't want to stick around for the day. We've got him on the list. I don't see anybody else on hand. I showed up on my list. Do we have anybody else out there that would like to check in at this time? The only thing I use it for is for the echo lift. It's bulky and it's in the way so I put it away when I'm not using it. Alright, Marty, what's up with you in your deck of woods? So we have a big dinner every year. All three clubs come together for a big dinner right in the same area where we've been parking. Last year they didn't reserve the spaces for us. They said they weren't going to do that anymore. So, but we all got there and got our spaces together because we got there early to make sure we did that. And you know people that have been there before know that we always park there and they don't try to get in there normally. But they advertise the fact that they weren't going to have it's Earth Day. So they, we kind of expected to have some tutors. But we didn't have much trouble with that. In fact we didn't have any trouble with it on our side at all. I was going to say something else. Oh, we, well I did mention the big dinner that we had. The WCCI has their one meeting of the year. They're going to give out door prizes. We had some door prizes as well. The FMCA group I think had some door prizes too. The other thing that I was going to mention is they have raised their prices significantly this year. Celine's not all that interested in it because she's not, she likes paying for the social aspects of it but she's not interested in building radios and working on radios and putting kids together and all that kind of stuff. So she's not really interested per se in the Hand Fest itself. She just, she does like the social aspects of it. So we are looking at probably just driving up for attendance on whatever day we're going to have our club meeting on. Which I hope will be the same day as the other clubs have their meetings on. So not sure what we're going to do yet. But that's the direction we're leaning. And maybe we can get this next guy to come over. And of course the FMTA ARC will have a group there as well. So there will be a lot of hands that we share time with that will be there. So even if we don't have an organized event, well, they'll be there to get in touch with them. And then we've got a fall rally coming up that's just starting to get organized a little bit. And that's going to be in Milton, Florida. And it's going to be in October. I don't remember the exact dates. There's no information out on it yet except that it's going to be in October in Milton, Florida. That's all on our website. All right. We, the topic I came up with, I didn't come up with it actually. Somebody suggested it. And I'm looking for more suggestions, guys. But what I came up with, it was, among the suggestions was what type of TV antenna do you use or do you use a TV service, streaming service, or you connect to the network channels, websites? How do you watch TV in your RV is what it boils down to. We've done a gamut of things over the years. Our external Batwing TV antenna bit the dust a couple years ago. I've never had it fixed because we weren't using it anymore anyway. The TV shows and all were all online where you could watch them on the network channels. So you could go to the ABC.com and pull up the ones that you liked and watch them. They had them there. Now they've all moved over to the various streaming services. So streaming services you've got to pay for. And then this year, even though I'm paying for them, they didn't have the programs on. They're still not getting them all started. So it's very, very slow to get the season started. And they skipped the summer altogether, it seems like. So what do you think is worth watching, in my opinion? So that's what I'm using. Let's see what Tom's using. One week of the year I should say. We're always on Thursday nights. There's been a few other times when Christmas fell on a Thursday or Friday. We didn't have a net. Oh, you're talking about the storm of, you said 78. I'm not mistaken. I was telling somebody earlier about the tornadoes that came through and took out Xenia, Ohio back in 74. And I was, I had just gotten my license at that time. That same storm system went through Vandenberg, Kentucky, Louisville, Kentucky, some place, maybe Stellersburg, if I remember right, Indiana, and then Xenia, Ohio. Just went right on up there and tore up a bunch of small towns. So I was, that was the first tornado, I guess the only tornado I've actually seen in person. We had a house, but we went full time in 2012. So we haven't had a house since 2012. If we still had the house, I probably would have set it up, but it was just three years after we retired and started RVing that we sold the house and went full time. But you know all the stuff you're talking about that you don't like to do, don't like leaving things on all the time, you'd like to be able to disconnect the antenna, that can all be done by remote control. It costs you a little bit more money to get the equipment to do it, but it can all be done. Hook it up to a computer system and all relays and whatnot and all control from the computer system. Something like, well, I started to say remote desktop on Windows, but that wouldn't do it all for you. You'd still have to have some specialized software. So yeah, we've got several club members that do it. Calvin, our membership manager in Georgia, runs it from his trailer. W3TOM, they have a big time station up there in the Northeast, up in Maryland. And he's got a booming signal all over the place, he operates off his cell phone. All the controls are right there on his cell phone. And we've got some others that are doing that too. What I was talking about are ones that are mostly clubs, a few individuals, but mostly clubs or organizations that are just for that purpose. Stand up a station like that and rent it out to people to use or just let it be there to be used by people that they, you have to get it signed up for it. I don't think either one of us has been turned on for a couple of months at least. Every now and then we'll try to see if the antenna is going to pick anything up or not. I think I got a bad cable connection in the roof. There's supposed to be a connector right behind the antenna that's in the roof underneath the cover, the surface. And I've been told it's notorious for coming loose. And I've got a feeling that's what's wrong with this one. I can get up there sometimes and wiggle the cable around, wiggle the antenna around, and have it start picking up for a while, but then first thing you know it quits again. It's been a long time since I've done that. I don't even get up on the roof anymore. So it's been a long time since I've done that. Just not much worth watching on local television anymore anyway, so we just haven't bothered to do it. Alright, let's see. We've still got Tom and we've still got George.
