Back to the top, Rich. K3OE. Rich, are you checking in from a funny homemade antenna or what you got going on? Come ahead, Rich. Well, good evening. Well, a funny homemade antenna. I don't know, not too crazy, but you know, it's hanging from my ceiling here and it's made out of coat hangers, so if that qualifies, then I guess it's kind of a weird antenna. Anyway, it's working well, so that's the main thing. The antenna analyzer says it's good, so you know, you can't have too many antennas just like you can't have too many radios. So anyway, I'm slowly getting things set up here. I got my 7300 set up today. I still got to get the antenna up. I got a couple of choices. I got the Comet 250B. I can set that up. I've got a dipole and I've got a loop. So anyway, I think there's some antennas in the near future. So other than that, Paul and I just made the best of one fantabulous day. And yesterday, I tried to get Leo to whisper to, like, not. And he just can't. And I just felt terrible asking him to rate it in, because I just really, I just don't. He's such a great kid. And so today, I wore some ear protection earmuffs. So I could kind of hear a little bit. But I just, like, looked like, yeah, I just wore ear protection earmuffs all day today. This cool day today is just so good for walking. So I don't know. I lost count of how many blocks we walked, but it was a good bit. And oh, my goodness, it was so nice. And yeah, and so now I'm a little bit late with my lunch, but I'm fixing that now. Polo got fed. He's over in the other chair, and he is just all conked out. So I don't know. We should show that we're in the Snohomish area there at the Cuyman Farm. So yeah, we've got KJ7RAB-9 is the current beacon that we're running here, and I think I forgot to update the gate in this door because we're in Elorgen, but the next time it beacons out it should change to be used on the TSRG Rainer sign, which is a Rainer sign, but hey, I want to promote it and let folks know where we are. So it's a whole lot of fun, I love APRS, and one of my favorite things to do with it is to use Windlink to push the Windlink up to your man in your beacon, and it will let you know if you have any Windlink mail messages pending. So you get a little back-to-back that says, you've got mail for your kind of fun, because you don't mind if we go to the mail real quick. So thanks for that, very much appreciate you stopping by, and hope you have a great rest of your day. Next up we've got Mike, this is KJ7R, how are you doing my friend? Hi Robert, hi Cami, and okay, I'm on a Tomy, I'm using about 5 watts and one of my arrows, and I'm looking at the voterscope, so it looks like I'm pegging the needle up on the buck. And what's interesting is when I move this antenna around, I'm looking right at the Puget Sound, and I'm on the upper part, there's like an upper and a lower area of Tomy than the trails, and I'm by the amphitheater, so I'm looking right out at the water. When I move this around, you can tell that the VHS signals like bounce off the stuff, they're like bouncing off that island over there, bouncing off the tree, and I never noticed that before. I tried to work this repeater from this kind of distance, because all these years I was like really close to a repeater, and I just hit it with an HD, and so now you can really get a feel for how much VHS signals bounce around. Anyway, it's nice out here, it is overcast, so the sun's not beating down on us about 65 degrees and lazy, and I thought, you guys are operating remote, I should hop in the car and come out here in the woods and operate remote, and I didn't look to see if the tide's in or out, I think it's in transition, so when it's out you've got all the clam people digging clams, and it's usually hard to find a parking spot then, but I don't see the clam people around. And, let's see what else we were going to mention, let me do this, I don't want to time out. And the other thing too is I'm seeing I'm pegging the needle on Buck, but my receive is different, my receive isn't really that good, unless I move the antenna over a little bit, so that says signals bouncing off the objects here. Let's see, we did APRS yesterday, I did, I pulled it out and do a test to see if we can get a Wind Link message out, I hit the ISS, and I did some APRS over RF, a lot of times we just use the dash 10 at work, which is the, without the radio, just take it along, so it's kind of neat. So, it's neat, you can do stuff on the phone, and then if you need to do it off the grid, you can do it off the grid too, so it works out really well. Anyway, you guys sound good, it sounds like you're having a good time, and we're just enjoying the woods out here in Lacey, this is KBA, VNY, VECU, Cami and Robert. This is repeater station, thank you so much for that, it is fantastic out here, we're having a blast, lots of folks kind of checking out what we got going on, and just a tremendous outcome in showing us support through Allied Motor Sports, I guess I get their name right, and a lot of the off-road community is quite fantastic, so very impressed with how things are going for their inaugural event, looking forward to many more years to come, and next year I'll make sure and have my Douglas Barrow to be on site in the event, actually hosting just from the table and kind of getting a little bit more interaction from folks, and I think we'll get a lot more goodness going on, because ham radio, GMRS, and radio in general is a huge part of the off-road community, so kind of promoting the ham radio kind of thing is a lot of fun, I'm a big promoter for the UTRF, you know, and that kind of technology, that way people can see where we are, and having that interaction with everyone when you're off-roading is a lot of fun, even though I partly believe that we need to kind of create an alternate frequency for some of that stuff, so that when we're off-roading, we get a little bit more dedication on these, and everyone can get some of the iGaze 4, setting up a mobile iGaze, I guess that'd be part of the iGaze 2, but there's so much to do, so much fun with it, and yes, I use the app on my phone as well, that way I can get the signals when I don't have radio, and then I can also make sure that I've got the ability to send packets over the radio if I've got my phone on, which is fantastic with no service, so thanks for stopping by my friends, very much appreciate you, and hope you have a great rest of your day, enjoy the woods, it's so beautiful out there. Next on the list we've got Groce, W7DNG, how are you doing my friend? Well first, you've got Groce here, W7DNG, can you still hear me? Roger, you sound fantastic. Well I'm doing some experimenting, I've only had this thing about 6 months now, it's their new bull thing, the AR5RM, and I'm sitting in the middle of my living room watching the hydro race. So that's on that report, rabbits are doing pretty good today, that's overcast, so they like that, so they're out more eating the grass than yards, haven't got much going on, but this is a normal day once a year, that's all I watch, out of all the sports that I ever go see or whatever, the hydro's the ones I like watching the best. So anyhow, I hope this transmission is getting through, and precious visual radio, W7DNG, back to you. Well Dr. Stan, I'm getting cozy, yes it's pretty slick watching the hydro's, one of the advantages that my grandparents had, where they live and rent, they can see them from their stack, even if it's parabenoculars because they are up a little ways, it's just the sound of the water, but they're able to see them from their house, their room, which is quite incredible, I don't know if it's going to be the full race, or if it's going to be a freeze of it, I don't remember, because I've never actually gotten to see it, so with that being said, I hope you're having a great time watching those, and if it's not you're going to hit the radio from inside your house, with the little metal thing, those are such great radios, it's incredible how well they've done on those things, so thanks for dropping by, very much appreciate you, and have a great rest of your day. I'm wondering if you see any of these from where you're sitting now, and the first one is Zip-Tie Hero, that category is best described as best use of creative field repairs, the next one, I think we talked about this on the 9 o'clock net, Zombie Apocalypse Ready, best overland camping set up, and the last one, I love this last one, because I know you've seen a number of these, not maybe at this event, but I'm sure there's one, got to be one, most likely to fail inspections, so do you see any of those three from where you're sitting now? KI7RM, thanks for getting me in. I'm 40 Moly Jack, I can't see many rigs at all from where I'm sitting, the only rig I can see is a Dodge just on site for our door printing, and I think it's one of their personal rigs, it's pretty well built that Dodge, but I would say it's kind of a little bit of an overland, and a Zombie Apocalypse look to it, but definitely not the award winner, not in my opinion at all, there were some great looking rigs out there, I'm really looking forward to seeing what we got, and kind of getting out there and looking at what rigs are going to get, what category, we've got to get out there and vote on ourselves, we'll definitely post some pictures on what we think and what we voted for, and get that live video stream on there so that all the folks at PSRT can have experience and see what's going on out here, because this is a tremendous amount of showing support for this group, and the amount of off-road rigs in the parking lot, Jack, is just incredible, we know a car show right out here in the parking lot, so definitely kind of hoping for some other clubs to take up this idea, we get more of these events happening all over the area, it would be fantastic, and showing off for the off-road community, not all of us are mall callers, but there's definitely a few of you here, but now I've got a couple of fantastic built rigs, one of them is a 6.2 liter supercharged, oh what the heck is that thing, it's a gladiator, it's got the America's Most Wanted build on it, which is just fantastic, the thing is running, it's got a 16E axle, I think it's got three fuel-in pairs on it, and it's just beautiful, and then they've got the Knott Fobcat, which is a gladiator that's been fobbed, and has the Hellcat motor built in it, which is another incredible build, so definitely a lot of fun stuff, fantastic rigs out there, and hopefully we'll wrap this up here after a little bit, and get out there and check things out on ourself, because we've got to figure out what rig we want to vote for, we've got to get our votes in. So thanks for stopping by Jack, very much appreciate you, and when I send the video, you'll have to give us your vote on what rig do you think will fit what category. Next on the list we've got Rich, K3-OE, how are you doing my friend? Robert, Kenny, doing great over here in West Seattle, and it is just a ton of fun hearing you two out there. Anyway, Kenny, get much better than ham radio and off-roading together, as a matter of fact, any activity that takes you out to boondocks I think ought to be teamed up with ham radio, and I know you haven't got a chance to look around much yet, but hopefully you'll take some pictures, and I hope you're not the only rig with ham antennas on it. Back to you, K3-OE. No, we're definitely not the only rig with ham antennas on them. There's a few other ones out here, but I have to say, I think most of them are certain-ratty rig, so they don't quite use the radio the same way we do in the social aspect, they only use it for form and function. There's quite a bit of time, you know, if you're looking around to see what other ham operators we have out here, there has to be a view of them. I would put my money on it. So, we've got an on-call rider that can be showing up, hopefully he's in route, and that'll be at least one other rig out here. Not sure what he's driving, but hopefully he's got a ham antenna on it, because, well, he's an on-call rider and he has ham antennas. So, thanks for that, Rick, we do appreciate you, and what you do to get out, valve, place your radio out in the woods, which we're in the corner field, this is the radio on the back, there you go. So, there you go. This is KJ7J, NAGS-M, who's currently 1237 p.m., this is the new event on the W7ZS and the PZ-7 area, and I'm going to hand it back over to you, my other ham. Oh, oh, and yes, we are live on-site here at the field of wheel defense, hosted by N7 Farms and Allied Motor Sports. The repeater operates at a frequency of 146.96 with a negative offset and a PL tone of 103.5. All licensed hams and news licensees just getting started are welcome to join. If you have third-party track, we'd love to hear from them. Two, we encourage you to press that button to tell us a little bit about yourself, your radio projects, or just about anything else. Alright, that is a good list. So let's go back up to the top and talk to Jim. K-7, PDZ. Well, hey, good evening there Brooks and Megan and everybody else out there. Yeah, hey, we've had a great day here at Deer Lake. Oh man, right now it was cool today. It was only high of 66 and right now it's raining. We are sitting outside under the umbrella and that's so cool to sit outside in a rain shower. But anyway, let's see what else. Oh, Jay was reading a book today and it had a new word in it that I have never seen before. Or read before and we talked about it and now I'm trying to incorporate it into my daily vocabulary. I was so frightened I was cowry wobbled. It just rolled up, cowry wobbled. It rolls off the tongue. It sounds like something that Amy could pick up on and do a whole lot of stuff with. Cowry wobbled. Oh man. Anyway, it was really cold today actually. The wind was blowing up. It was 62 degrees and the wind was blowing hard. And now it's 62 degrees and it's no wind so it was very pleasant outside tonight. So Amy, pick up on cowry wobbled. See what you can do with that one. That just sounds like it's right up your alley. Anyway, that's all I got here Brooks and Megan. And you guys have a great evening. 7th race everybody. This is Jim and Jay at Tier Lake K7. Cowry wobbled. Peace. Well, thank you there Jim. Cowry wobbled. Alright. I was trying to Google that. I couldn't quite figure out how to spell it. But you're right. That does sound like an Amy word and hopefully she's still listening and is picking up on that one right now. But yeah, it sounds like you got a nice day over there. Nice and cool with the rain. We had some rain here today also. And yeah, after all of the heat that we've had and the dryness, the rain is definitely welcome for a little bit of a day. And you know, it's going to keep some of the vegetation wet. Hopefully reduce some of the fires and things like that. Well good stuff there Jim. Thanks for stopping by. Radio waves over there to Jane as well. And you have a good rest of your night. Okay, next on the list is Rich. K3OE Rich. Have you got a fun antenna for us tonight? Over to you. Good evening Brooks and Megan. Yes indeed I certainly do and I posted a picture already. So anyway, it's a bicycle theme. So I got a bicycle wheel and handlebars on top. And SWR is not too bad. Round 2, 2.1, something like that. Anyway, we'll be right back. So I got a bicycle wheel and handlebars on top. And SWR is not too bad. Round 2, 2.1, something like that. Anyway, more than acceptable. So I was able to check in on it. So that's a good thing. Anyway, not much else going on here. My station manager, Paul, he got me out three times today. So he's making sure that I get my steps in. But it was a pleasant day for walking. So anyway, always great to hear both of you on the air. Back to you K3OE."},{"callsign_confidence":0.97,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T12:25:46+00:00","id":15509,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15508,"text":" again, Rebecca. You know, my favorite person, Rebecca, you know, one was told last night that she is loved by Robert. How about them apples? You know, anyway, it's a beautiful day here, blue sky, not a cloud to be seen, Bob Ross was, put one in the sky with the magic white paint, it just wouldn't appear, and approximately 65 degrees, it's a beautiful day. And, let's see, about 42 percent humidity, and the dew point is 26 degrees. The wind is blowing, approximately 8 miles from the west. Let's see what else. The bromer is reading 30, 66, and steady. It's like a rock, you know. Which brings up the rockin' jock. Excuse me. Dave was at the morning nets on Wednesday. He's the morning net. Dave and his partner, Sam, but that's all I got. We don't have too much. This is TC2-STO. He headed back to deck control. He eats all the good numbers. To ward you, this is TC2-STO. TC2-STO, factor that control. Well thank you so much for checking in, Charlie. I appreciate it. And, yeah, it's great to hear from you, and, you know, the weather reports and everything. Well that's great. Well have a good day, Charlie. 73. This is Rebecca KK7IJZ. Let's keep this net in the middle of the lab. Let's keep this net going. This is the PSRG Noon net on this August 9, 2025. This is Rebecca KK7IJZ. More stations RF and internet. WB7J, this is Rich. Hey Rich, more stations please. K3OE, the other Rich. Yes! I almost automatically wrote down your call sign. K3OE, Rich. I feel like you and Wilco would be, uh, yes. I feel like you and Wilco would be friends. Maybe, uh, maybe that connection can be made. Got you on the list, Rich. K3OE, more stations please. KG7ODD. Kilo Kilo Alpha X-Ray Peter, Santa Cruz I-O. KI6, Romeo Alpha X-Ray with an I-O, from Santa Cruz, California there. I've got you on the list, and I've got your I-O, so there you go. I-O-I-O. Hey, happy Friday, we'll catch you later, have a great day. Alright, I'm going to go ahead and run this real quick, so I don't keep anybody waiting too long. So let's back up and see what George is up to, KB0, Mike, Alpha, India, take it away. Well thank you sir, I appreciate it. I hope everybody on the net is doing just fine up there in Seattle and everywhere else that you're checking in from. I'm down here in Kansas City, Missouri. We, you know, it's been pretty decent here lately. Last week it was absolutely gorgeous, but then this week the heat wave came back in, so we're back up to 90, 95 degree weather for this whole week. So, a lot of humidity and everything else, so I'm not really looking forward to it. But at least I'm home at the house and enjoying the day off, and that's cool. I went out and had breakfast with a friend this morning, and got back to the house and I had a flat tire. It was real low. I didn't notice it when I left this morning, so luckily I had an electric pump and filled it up and got up the tire discount and they got it all took and care of for me. But that's the first flat tire I've had in like 20 years, so I consider myself quite lucky. Doing well though. Just doing well and everything's fine over here in Kansas City. That's about it. Back to you KB0MAI. Back to net control. Hey, great to hear from you. Kansas City, here I come. Yeah, hey. Great to hear from you this morning and thanks for the report. Sorry about the flat tire though. Yeah, I hate flat tires. Oh man. But yeah, what a pain. But you know, if you got a pump and you got placed nearby and then you're in good shape, I always carry one of those emergency patch kits and a pump with me whenever I go anywhere. And the only trouble is that little pump on my pickup tires. It takes like 30 minutes to get it even up to like 20 PSI. But hey, it does the trick and if you have to plug it, you can plug it and do that tire patch thing. So there you go. And it works pretty well. So 73s. Have a wonderful day. Thanks for coming by and saying hi and we will catch you later. Let's see what Rich is up to. Hey, K3 Oscar Echo. Take it away. Good morning, good morning. And I'm sorry I stumbled into the internet. I just got back in the house with Polo and I heard you calling so I jumped in. Anyway, yeah, I always am ready for any kind of tire problem. That's for sure. You gotta be ready just in case. And anyway, thanks for the Echo. So I get two Echos this week. Cool. I love it. So anyway, some of you are probably wondering why I didn't do any antenna last night. I didn't even check into the net last night but I have a really good excuse. I went down to the Museum of Flight last night because it's their one free day a month. So I went down there, I got there right at 5 o'clock and got in and got inside and sure enough our friend Dan was in there. So Dan and I just kind of made the rounds of the place and he gave me a whole tour. So I was there for almost four hours and I got back home here. I was just too tired to do anything. But anyway, thanks for picking up the net for Ron. Back to you, K3oB. Hey Rich, glad you had a wonderful time at the Museum of Flight. Man, I love that place. It's just so much fun. And yeah, what can I say? No, you did not break in on the internet round. I opened it up to everybody. And just taking internet as they come. So trying to leave a little extra time here or there to get them in. Especially Echo Link Connects. So there you go. Well Rich, have a wonderful day and glad you had a good time and we will catch you later. Happy Friday. I'm still trying to remember it's Friday. Kilo Kilo 7, Whiskey Quebec Alpha. What you got going on today? Come ahead please."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T12:51:52+00:00","id":15510,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15509,"text":" All righty, after all lockdown, go back to the top two. The first Rich of this round, WB7J. Rich, how are you and your cat adventures going? Hey Rebecca, good afternoon and good afternoon to the net. And good job K3OE for jumping in there. Let's see, the cat adventure isn't so great. We had a cat meltdown in Prince George, BC. My plan had been to take this sort of prolonged road trip with the cat. And my cat, Pella, she does a great job of traveling. We've been back and forth to Mexico a few times. Now, what she hadn't done a great job of is acclimating to a new place overnight. To go to a new place in the past that's taken her three or four days to settle down. My hope is that she would adapt to a changing nightly environment. And my hopes were dashed. So I skedaddled back, I mean as far as Prince George, BC, I skedaddled back to Seattle. Puyallup really. Let her hang out in an environment she's familiar with. And then I went off to the beach at the Pacific Coast. Pacific Beach is the name of the city just north of Aberdeen, Oakley, and Meria. And I've been camped out here and it's been a cool little experiment. I've got my little lithium iron phosphate battery set up with a solar panel, a little cooler and a bridge, a big tent with a cot and a chair and a little table. I mean it's, I'm trying to emulate the RV experience without the RV expense. And it's been a fun week. I've got a couple more nights here. Then I'll head back to Puyallup, pack for Mexico and head back. That's my report, Rebecca. Thanks for doing the net. 73 is to all WBs. Well, Rich, I am sorry that you ended up with the one cat in the entire world. That was not able to adapt. Just joking. Cats. Gotta love them. Well, I hope that you and Bella are, uh, yeah, get back in the routine of things and go head back to Mexico to find Miguel Allende. Have a wonderful time on the coast. That does sound lovely. Just camping on the coast. The beautiful Pacific Northwest. Yeah. The Olympic coast. Sounds lovely. Have fun camping. I'm looking forward to y'all's net tonight. You sound great, by the way. BTW. And yeah. Thanks, Rich. 73 and 88. It's always good to hear from you. Next on the list is one of the many Riches. It's Rich and Polo. K3OE. Who's going to just spout, just spew the joys and wonders of owning just the most wonderful dog. And also being a tinkerer. K3OE, KK7IJZ. Well, hi, Rebecca. And the other Rich, of course. Oh, my goodness, yes. You know yourself with Andy. You know, even if you're having a rotten day, you've got a dog. Puts their snout in your lap or on your arm. Everything is better. So that's the way it is now. You trying to check here? There we go. I guess that was a check in from Polo. Anyway, doing great here. I made some salad for lunch, which is always good. We need our green stuff, that's for sure. So I did that and got Polo out for a really nice walk this morning. It's so pleasant. You just got to get outside and enjoy it. Back to you, K3OE. This is repeater station Kilo, Kilo 7. Hello, Polo. Hey, Polo. Give Polo so many kisses for me. I love you, Polo. Hello. Oh, Rich, have a wonderful salad and a wonderful weekend in West Seattle. It's a beautiful day out here. And I hope that the two of you make it to the ice cream social. I'm sure that you will. And, yeah, I feel like you and Volko would get along. Not that you wouldn't. I mean, Rich, you're the best. All of the Riches are the best. But, yeah. Volko, W7LCO, meet Rich, K3OE. Rich, K3OE, meet Volko, W7LCO. Y'all pick out each other's QRZ and become friends. Do it! 73 and 88 Rich and, yes, so many kisses to Polo. Hi, Polo. Thank you for taking care of Rich. All right. This is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. Next on the list is Dean from Middle Lake. Yuck! KG70DB, KK7IJZ. 88 Dean. Good afternoon, Rebecca. I almost said good morning. It's a sense of d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu. So it's really funny, after the Lake Washington net, I was wondering, has anybody ever done the Lake Washington 11 o'clock net and then done the new net on PSRG? And I kind of thought I'd heard it, it had happened before, but now I've got the definitive answer. It would be interesting if the net had gone all the way up past noon, what would happen. Or if it went right to noon and then it's like, give me five seconds and let me change my frequency. Well, it's good hearing you again today. It's kind of a nice thing. Yeah, not really doing a whole lot. I was doing a little bit of research online. There was a question that was brought up near the end of the morning net about how much wattage you should use in your car if you have a mobile rig in your car. And it's always been my understanding that the car itself acts as a Faraday cage. So it doesn't mean you have to be not conscious of high power, especially around 50 watts. I've been curious about this question because recently I was doing a, a couple months ago, I was doing a Parks on the Air over at Lake Sammamish. And I had my mag mount antenna on the roof of my car. And so normally when I'm doing FT8 on, you know, especially mobile, I rarely ever go above about 20 or 25 watts because FT8, you're going at a very high duty cycle. You're just on completely during the 15 second transmissions you make. And at one point I was trying to reach a faraway station. And so I turned my power up to, I think it was 70 watts with my mag mount on the roof. And all of a sudden my computer screen goes blank and other little things like the mouse pad wouldn't work properly while I was transmitting. So anyway, it kind of makes me wonder, so I'm going to do a little more research on this. And yeah, I know it was Christian, KK7AIX asked the question earlier, and I know that's not any kind of definitive answer, but anyway, it's, y'all is learning something new. So anyway, this is KT7ODD, back to Nat. Well, Dean, I do have some news for you. This is my second time back to backing Nets. The 11 am and the noon net. Second time. Second time's a charm, right? And it's really not that bad, you know, whatever. I talk a lot in general and nanny for a five year old, so I am talking all day long regardless. So here I am, doing Nets. But yeah, interesting report. It's always good to hear from you, Dean. I, uh, my cat Avi is in my lap now. He is tired of me hosting Nets. He wants me to lay down forever and be by his side for eternity and for us to just be together forever in solitude. Just snuggling. And he's decided that's going to start right now. But, uh, yeah. Well, thank you so much for your report, Dean. 88 and all the numbers and have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. Next on the list is Jeff in Onion City. Alpha Bravo 6 Mike Bravo. Please come ahead with your report. Good afternoon, Rebecca. This is AB 6MB on San Francisco Bay. We're sunny out and 76 degrees. So, it's supposed to be 82 today. Meanwhile, I just went a little bit ago. I had a really good night's sleep, which I needed, and got my coffee at the ready and I'm not afraid to drink it. I'm just getting going here. Interesting about taking a cat traveling. I'm not surprised. They're very territorial and very much like their space in a certain way. So, that's interesting. Sorry that happened. Uh, see here, uh, yeah, Saturday is my favorite day for amateur radio. I've got this. Then I've got the, you know, the, uh, the board meeting. And then I've got a 3 o'clock net that's really good. Then 5 p.m. is the, uh, ham radio crash course. And then, uh, 8 o'clock is the, uh, Papa System, uh, anything but radio net. And then 9 o'clock is the, uh, PSRG net. So, yeah, the whole day is filled up with great nets. So, I really enjoy it. It's my favorite day. My, uh, my grandson wanted to come over today to visit and I said, well, can you do it tomorrow? Because, uh, my whole day is kind of filled up. And he goes, yeah, I can do that. So, he's a pretty cool kid. So, uh, anyway, that's it for today. Oh, yeah, the squirrels, uh, filled up the peanuts and the nuts and got them ready. They haven't, I mean, I just got up here a little bit ago and I haven't seen them yet. But I guarantee you they'll be around. They got to do a quality check on the peanuts and nuts to make sure they're tasty. So, Sara, turn it back to you. AB6MB. Oh, that's sweet. Your grandson wants to come visit you. How amazing is that? Aww. Well, that's fun to have. Thank you so much for the squirrel report. I hope that the quality check goes well and that all of the nuts have been approved and consumed or hidden in a very secret, top secret location. Um, yeah, have a fun amateur radio day. Just, yeah, that's great. All of these things. Oh, yeah, I forget that the Ham Radio Crash Course does their live situation every Saturday evening as well. Um, yeah, well, have a fun day, Jeff, and we'll hear from you again later on tonight on Bill and Rich's Net at 9 p.m. Ah, 7388 Jeff. All right, this is Rebecca, KK7IJZ, and you are listening to the PFRG Noon Net on this B-8 radio station. It's a beautiful, beautiful Saturday. I'm going to go ahead and pause for announcements. Okay, for all events to consider, please check out psrg.org. That's psrg.org. There's an events to consider column on the side there. Lots of events to consider, volunteer opportunities, and yeah, swap meets so much, so many things. And on psrg, you can become a member, and it's free, you have access to the remote HF station. If you are interested in helping update and expand the remote HF station, or looking for volunteers for that, please get in touch with our Vice President Brooks, K9BDC. If you have any interest in, um, yeah, helping out with updating and, yeah, just a week, just help out with our remote HF station. It is, yeah, it'll be cool. And just get in touch with Brooks, K9BDC. Also today, on August 9th at 1.30 p.m. Pacific time, is our club board meeting. The Zoom link is already posted on our website, psrg.org. Just click the Zoom link to attend. You must be a board member to, um, vote, but, um, yeah, just kind of see how the sausage is made. There is so much that happens behind the scenes. At psrg, there's just a lot of hard work and love goes into maintaining the club in all different sorts of ways. So, yeah, just even if you have it on in the background, just listen to a board meeting, more of an understanding of how the club works. And then tomorrow is our ice cream social at Green Lake. So, Jack, KI7RMU and Boston Overbill usually get there at the crack of dawn, helping set everything up. And they just kind of go on all day. The new net is hosted there by Cami and Robert, KJ7JXM and KJ7RAB. There's always donuts and coffee, and it's an ice cream social, so there will be ice cream. At Green Lake, there's lots of things to do. You can walk around, hang out, dog watch, and, yeah, and meet a bunch of fun ham radio folks in 3D. It's always a good time. And, yeah, just putting faces to names, face to call signs. It's a lot of, it's so much fun. So, then tomorrow's rain or shine. The new net will be hosted there, so get there, you know, any time around the new net. Early, late, they usually last a long, long time. So, Green Lake. But everything, ham radio is posted at, everything PSRG is posted at PSRG.org or at, on our Facebook discussion group page, the PSRG website. And don't forget about the SimplexNet tonight as well. So, the SimplexNet, the frequency is 146.6, and it's at 8 p.m. in the Seattle Seattle area. So, board meeting, 1.30 today. Simplex, tonight, 8 p.m. Board meeting, I mean, board meeting, oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. 1.30 today. Simplex, tonight, 8 p.m. Board meeting, I mean, board meeting, oh. Ice cream social, meet everybody, tomorrow, Green Lake. Alright, this is KK7IJZ. Let's continue on with the net. I'll sign the name, RS, and internet. Kilo Juliet 7, Romeo Alfibrado, Kami. Good morning Rebecca and Polo is right here snuggled next to me in the chair and that's really nice of course. Oh my goodness, I just got the rig hooked up just a little bit ago so it's kind of, it's a different sound on RF. I've got to get used to it again. Anyway, doing well here. Tried to rest up a little bit with a long drive yesterday but oh wasn't it beautiful. It was nice to see our friend Lee over in Pasco and yeah the drive was absolutely amazing yesterday. At my age I even found enough energy to walk at least part of the Natchez Trail. Oh my goodness, the air is so good up there. Oh boy, I wish we had the air that good down here. Anyway, Rebecca, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow and of course Polo is going to be excited. You have the floor. Thank you very much. This is N3OMO, aka Oink Oink, Moo Oink. It's a very hot day here. It'll be close to 98, 99, maybe more than that. We had a lot of thunderstorms last night, then the thunder stopped, but we had a lot of clouds of clouds, very, very sharp lightning until wee hours of morning. So that was up until one o'clock, my usual time. So I was able to see the lightning through the three small windows we have on our front door. And that was interesting to watch. Nothing new is going on. I'm going to start going through some more boxes and papers that I haven't touched yet in the past two years since RJ died. But I've got to get started on it. I'll promise myself I'll start on one box that's in here in the living room. And I'll just go through them one at a time and get to my desk and go through all those papers when I do time. And I've already been through those papers that have been in RJ's room, so that's good. His office, I should say. So all the animals that grew in the wild, they're inside where it's cool. And everything's going good. I hope everybody else is having a great day. And good luck on those wild fires. I know that's no fun. I'm going to get their share of them as well. Take care. Have a great day. Love you all. Have a good three o'clock Oscar. Well thank you there Elaine. Yeah, that's all that stuff you have to do when a spouse dies is all the paperwork and everything. Just going through stuff is always hard. I know I've been there. And so, yeah, you've got to, but it has to be done. So you're right. Now at this point you're aware you can go through and not have quite so many emotions attached to everything. So you can be a little more objective about the stuff you're looking at. Do we need to keep it? Burn it, file it, shred it, whatever. Yeah, so. Okay, thanks, Elaine. And take care and we'll talk to you later. Alright, this is Jim sitting in for Dave this morning. Dave, this morning I am K7PDZ and I'm looking for your call sign to hand you to my list of call signs and names please. K3OE, good morning. Juliet Golf. Good evening, good evening, good morning. Yeah, I think I need more coffee. How am I gonna do? Beautiful day over here. And first off before I forget it, greetings to Elaine. Always love to hear Elaine checking in. And yes, I did make an antenna last night and it worked and I checked in on it. And yeah, I posted a picture of him so you can check it out. Pretty simple, it's a kitchen special. I got some pots on the bottom and some graters on the top. So I don't know if it's a great antenna or something else, but anyway it worked. Oh my goodness. So I don't know what else is going on. Not too much, but Paul is keeping me straight. In fact, he's here right now with me and I think he's gonna drag me outside for a walk here pretty soon. Anyway, I hope safe travels for Sam and Dave and back to you, K3-OE. Okay, thanks Rich. Well okay, I will definitely take a peek at the pots. It's either a great antenna, yes, or we can get the pot center. We're gonna have to work on that one. Anyway, I guess we're gonna have a zoom-a-doo tonight so we'll probably be there. And so we can keep a look at it in person, who knows? Alright, let's go down to North Carolina I guess. Doug, are you really in North Carolina? My spreadsheet says you are. T-G7, Delta Uniform Golf, good morning. This is Repeater. Good morning. No personal specification. Also, I'm 7. This is Delta Uniform Golf. We have been down North Eagle, and then on Highway 2. Headed to Post Falls, Idaho to go pick up a little Wi-Fi utility trailer. And got word of the highway warnings over there, so hopefully I can get over and back before it gets too bad.
