"text": "Doing pretty good not you know, can't complain too much for sure. So You know, everything's doing pretty good I didn't feel into this weekend though, which is super sad But you know, I saw the other day. So that's okay and You know not not much else going on I've got to work on a song today or try to and I've got a few Other things to do, watch some TV this afternoon or this morning. And then listen to an interview and then attend our thing tonight. So that'll be interesting. I guess I have to eat in tonight in order to attend our little gathering because I can't do it at the dining room. So yeah, I'll be eating in tonight. that's good. I don't mind every now and then eating and it's nice and quiet and peaceful and no, you know, background noise in the dining room and all kinds of stuff so I don't mind it'll be nice to actually eat it, but I might be eating during our little meeting but I'll be here anyway so there you go. All right so have a great day Hey guys, I gotta get myself another cup of coffee before I start working on something I got to work on before. Oh gosh, that reminds me. I have to teach a class on Friday and I've got to get all the files organized and stuff that happens. I gotta do that today for sure. So that's gonna take a lot of my, there goes my TV watching for the day. Bummer. Alrighty then. Oh, okay. Talk at you all later. Casey 7 W back tonight."

"text": " Yeah, QSL, yeah, I use RG-8 and RG-213. The reason why, and I end up with lots of RG-213s. What happened was I was working with the Army Special Forces on a project and I was with the military. I should say I was working with the military. And basically what happened on that was the fact that when they left the project, the warehouse, they abandoned all those coax antennas and stuff. So when the guy's going over there, he says, Oh, you need your ham radio operator. He says, you want to take this coax? I says, sure I do. Man, yes. So I loaded it up with my pickup truck and hauled it home. And I've been using that for satellite antennas and different things and it has really low loss at higher frequencies. I want to make mention to the, that hasn't been mentioned out there to anybody, that be careful that you don't get some cable coax because the reason why that's 75 ohms. And then you'll have to try to match it to your load. And you can do that. And again, we'll also, also, so hams use the lateral line too for their HF antennas for matching and that. So it depends on what you need to do there. And I don't use smaller coax because it has too high a loss. Anyway, so that's actually about that. K6B, Gail. Beep."

"text": " Well, good afternoon Jack and everyone on the net. TNIBC Brooks here in Newcastle. Yes, the joys of home ownership, the unexpected things that happen to your home that you then need to get resolved Thursday evening or afternoon or whenever it was. Some vehicle drove by and took out the overhead wires that ran from the telephone pole over to the house, one of which being our internet connection. The other was an old phone line, but nonetheless, when you rip a tension cable off of the house, it does some damage to things on the house and anything in its way as the cable launches down the road and ends up in the neighbor's tree. So anyway, still without internet. I guess I had misunderstood the Xfinity agent, so I'm on a wait list for today, which I think is now expired, so they're not coming today. I'm on another wait list appointment for tomorrow, which at this point, two wait list appointments where I've got non-contact, I'm not too optimistic about. So we are on the schedule for a Monday apparently at 2 to 4 p.m. and that's when they are going to come by with the bucket truck and run a new line from the telephone pole over to the house. And hopefully, I get them to take down some of the old lines that are not doing anything while they're up there. And then there's just one line, one single line running over to the house. So we'll see how that goes. But yeah, so right now, I'm running off of, I have been running off of hot spots, but I did get out the new Starlink. The Starlink Mini is sitting on top of the truck, on the bed cover of the truck, plugged into the EcoFlow, which is inside the truck, which is the exact setup I plan to use for camping. So this is a good test case scenario. We're going to plan on running Zoom off of there. If that doesn't work, I'll jump back over to my phone hotspot, which I know works just fine. But yeah, that'll allow some Zoom meetings from campsites, which could be kind of fun in the future. Oh, there's Megan calling me. Anyway, with that, let's see, looking forward to the educational meeting coming up here in a little over half an hour. And then just kind of do some stuff around the house here today, getting some stuff cleaned up, doing some organizing out in the garage. And then finally get over and spend some time on that mill because I've had a lot of other things come up that have prevented me from playing with my new equipment because it's essentially play equipment. So anyway, that's what I got for now. Thanks for doing the NetJax 730 K9 BBC."

"text": " Alright Fred, well have a great fall. I tell you the colors out here at the park today are just fantastic. And it's really great to see everybody here joining us on site. Alright, well you take care. Say hi to Paige, W0FLZ and enjoy the new shack. I know Paige has been working on that for some time. I think... Wait a minute, hey Fred, real quick. I believe that Paige put up a second tower. Is that right? Yeah, well I think she had two and I think she added a tip up. It might be three towers plus another tripod on the roof. So I don't know, I gotta do some counting there on her antenna farm when I get up there. Lots of changes. KK7NXS."
