Yeah, here was Rusty's Raiders on Monday, last Monday. And I asked about the history of the name of the net Rusty's Raiders. And I can't remember who was on that console at the time. They gave me a little bit of a background, but he said the expert was Bruce. So, and he'll be running it today. And that, of course, is November 5, November kilo 5 whisky. So I popped in and asked him and he said, it's rich in history. I didn't know it was going for as long as that. That's a phenomenal time for a net, for sure. But, no, I love the nets. I love the SCATnet, the Senior Citizens and Travellers net and Rusty's Raiders. Rusty's Raiders and of course yours, which is a bit late for me, but hey, it's only 1 a.m. I'm usually up a lot later than that there, Paul. And, yeah, unfortunately today is, I mean, in two days it's just not my birthday, it's my sister's birthday. And she passed a few years back, so it's hard. We've had my birthdays together since I was one. So, anyway, we were kind of like one there. So, she was born on my birthday. Then I have a brother and a sister that are also born on the same birthdays, and they're like four years apart. So, how about that? Busy, busy, busy, right? Let me reset. CHAT5SSR returning, yeah, I just wanted to plug a few of my grapes. And I put the first 11cats.org in there, incorrect, but I fixed it. And I do have the 11cats network at 11cats.org for all the information. This net and other nets just like this, or not just like it, of course you guys are one of a kind, the IRN. But other nets that I enjoy doing, and some that I'm in control of, some that I'm not. But anyway, in a few hours we have the happy hour net coming on here and on 11cats. So, check that out. It's at 7 Eastern, and I have a host. And then we added a new net for Saturday called the Litter Box Lounge. So, come check that out. That's at 7 Eastern. Also Sunday we have the AFC Amateurs for Christ at 4 Eastern. All this information and lots of pet information can be found on my website. So Christmas has never been exactly the same for me since that happened. She passed away on Christmas Day of all days there. So, as I said, Christmas, I'm thinking of her. And I think it's as I said Christmas has never been the same again for me. But, you know, if you've got young children, you've got to be happy. And, you know, because it's Christmas being that time of the year. And, yeah, as I said, she passed there. And my father passed, oh, about six months later, seven months later. Because they were really, really close. I'll put it back to you there as you head on. By the way, the 100th degree is fox-like. I nearly forgot to comment on that. And on the blue screen on the aim window, just pop your call sign in there and say, please check me in. Now all the net controllers will accept a blue screen check in, as we call it. That's the aim window on NetLogger. So if you pop your call in there and say you'd like to be checked in, you'll be added to the list there, Paul. So if you want to get in and you're having problems, I know I always leave pretty long gaps for anybody on EcoLink or on DMR to get in. But sometimes it's forgotten, so I know how difficult it will be to get in there. If you're on all staff, you can connect via all staff, or the black, everything. All staff node 4956 to 49562. That's directly into the bottom breaker hub itself. So if you've got problem checking, pop it on the window, the blue screen, and the net console will pick it up and pop you on the list. So that's a nice simple way to get in there if you're having problems, Paul. KV0WMA, GW8S, ZL. This is repeater station, Kilo Kilo 7. Ah, well very good on that. Yes, I forgot about that aim. I use that too because I actually look in for check ins and I actually start populating as well. And then I acknowledge them to say I see you on that logger site. I use it and then of course just right over my head, I didn't even think of it. I will do that next time. I will actually get on the net logger and I know that you were there, but I just didn't have the aim window open at the time. Probably because I was so new to the net logger I had no idea. But now, pretty fluent in it now, so I'll definitely do that. I'll open it up, throw it in there, please check me in, and then you can acknowledge me and move forward from there. At least I'll put me on the list, at least I know I'm there. Instead of trying to key up multiple times and say, well, we're done. I can't key up, I can't get it. But that's awesome. Alright, I don't really have any more chatting with you, but I do appreciate you picking me up. And having a good chat here. So I know it's getting really late over there, so I will say 73 and let you move on to some other stations. Hopefully there's some more folks out there to be picked up for your log. And we'll talk to you soon. I do appreciate it. Hopefully he'll catch you on the boarding breaker on Sunday, and then I'll definitely put that. And also this Friday one on my calendar so I don't forget. Because if I don't do that, I will forget. Good evening, good evening, good evening Dave. Hope you and Sue and Declan are doing well. Well, let's see, a long time no here right? Sure. No, I haven't received the shirts yet. In fact, I just got an email this morning from that foundation and they've informed me that those two t-shirts are on their way this way. So I suspect they'll probably be, I'm guessing maybe about two weeks before I'll see them. So, but anyway, I'll do a twofer with you there. I'll relay Shirley in. KJ5STP. Say hi to Dave. Oh, hi Dave, how are you? Yeah, we're just getting ready to head out here. Shirley's sister's, or brother-in-law is having a birthday celebration today. How old are you? Well, he's 85. He's 85, 1940 to 2025, 85 years old. And his brother, who's 18 years younger than him, celebrates his birthday next week. So we're doing a twofer birthday celebration tonight. So everything is twofer tonight. So Shirley got back from her trip to Santa Fe, as I was mentioning to you before, and told her about some of those little treats there. And the hagas, and I think if I'm pronouncing it correctly, she looked at the picture and she thought, well that looks pretty good until she zoomed in and she says, uh, wait a minute, what is this? And then she read the description and she said, you've just got to be kidding. How could anybody enjoy something like that? I said, well, you never know. You never know until you try. I don't even eat oysters. Yeah, she doesn't even eat what she just said, oysters. She'll eat mushrooms. She'll eat mushrooms. That's not even nearly the same. Not even close. They don't even look alike. What can you say, right? So what's new in your world over there? I heard you had some little cooler temperatures going out your way, huh? TI-5 WZ8, back with GW8FZL. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November... Yeah, KI5 WZ8 from GW8FZL. Hi to Shirley there as well, and thanks for the two fare. I got Kilo Juliet. Hi, Sierra Tango Papa on the log there in that net logger as well. And I hope you enjoyed your trip away there, Shirley. And the correct pronunciation is hagis. Hagis there, Keith. And as you know, I have actually eaten hagis. Even though I did know what it was made out of, what the ingredients were, I still went ahead and sampled it up there with Graham there in Marrow. It's gone very well at the visit last. And it's absolutely lovely. I really, really enjoyed it. And if I was up in Scotland, or it was readily available around here in South Wales, I would be having it on a regular basis. It's amazing though, you know, you think of what's actually gone into it, or goes into it, and individually they sound absolutely awful, horrible. Well, I've actually put together and cooked properly. It actually tastes really, really nice. Must be the chemical reaction between the ingredients. That's what I think anyway, but I really enjoy it. A lot of people, when they know what's in it, they won't even touch it. But if they have it first and don't know what's in it, this is really, really nice. And then a shock to find out what actually is in it that they've just been eating. But I enjoy it anyway. And as I said, after we've ordered some more, some Tinder haggis off of Amazon, I think they're a key. I've been doing a great deal, just the general bits and pieces around here. It's all good fun. But if, you know, if they're close to collection time, they normally got enough weight in them to keep them in one position. But we had that 95 mile hour wind, nothing would have kept them in one position no matter how full they were. So, yeah. I don't know, maybe it's gone around the planet. You know, normally your weather over there in the US ends up over here on our west coast. Like the remnants of hurricanes and stuff like that if they're powerful enough. Most of them will actually die down to nothingness as they come across the Atlantic. So maybe the weather's gone around, you know, through Europe and back around to the west coast of the US and they come that way. I don't know. But it's actually, we haven't had any heavy rain now for about an hour and a half. But as I said earlier, Sunday and Monday, we could get really, really heavy, prolonged showers. And one of the Vikings was named Odin. There you go. Anyway, Dave, that's great hearing you out there again, as always. And how's your evening going thus far going at G-I-5-W-Z-A?"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-19T16:11:07+00:00","id":42214,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":42213,"text":" Yeah, KK4BFM from GWA.SNL. Yeah, I remember Ricky Hatton. He's my hero. And yeah, he had his first defeat against Floyd Mayweather. Anyway, it's late here. I'm trying to get my memory to work back. It's not good. But yeah, he died. He was only 46. He was 46. I'm just trying to think now. He's 46 years old. I'm not sure. Possibly. He wasn't that old. Yeah, he was 46 because he was born in 1978 in Stockport. I do remember that. Yeah, he was 46 years old. So yeah, an absolute great fighter. That's for sure. He was also obviously known as the Hitman. He was also known as the People's Champion as well. He was late 1990s. I think it was 1997 and 2012. Then he became a boxing promoter and a trainer then after that. Yeah, that's it. I just Googled it in case you wouldn't. Captain Bob. So yeah, it'd be a sad loss that. He was a great man nevertheless. KK4BFN.
