"text": "Good morning, Casey one YDR my tired voice on I Don't sleep that well Sunday night, sir. So it hits me every at the beginning of every week I don't have a job to go to yet. So I Don't know. Hey, I woke up at 2 30 and then you know up and up and I took one of the little pills they told me to take if my mind is going to that asked and That kind of knocked me out a little bit. So here I am. But anyway, I had a good weekend I cleaned up the motorcycles got them ready for for winter got them up against the wall in the garage on the trickle chargers and cleaned up the garage so that we can get the cars in there we're supposed to get maybe three to six inches here west of Boston this tomorrow just tomorrow but sounds like nothing compared to to what you get where you all are sounds like a lot of snow too much snow but it's funny it's all relative so you know three to six inches not much here in Boston. I was going to visit my my grandkids down in South Carolina next week using up my last air miles but their their criteria for a heavy snowstorm I think is any snow. It just doesn't matter how much they're just not prepared for it so anyway I'll stay on the list look forward to the And back to you, it's KC1YDR."

"text": "Yeah, I think I've got it now there, Mark. Hey, listen, that last one was much, much better. A few dropouts, not too many. The first half was an absolutely solid second half. Just a little bit of a few dropouts, but nothing too bad. We got the gist of it. Well, you know, you say G5, we say 5G. There are some areas across here in Scotland that are pretty solid with the old 5G signal, but there are others that are in between 5G and 4G. 3G is still available in some places, but they're certainly getting rid of that. But yeah, you have all the equipment that's available and able to connect. But if you're not in the proper area that can connect to 5G, then you just have to rely on 4. And sometimes forcing it onto 4G actually makes a better and more stable signal I've found. So there we go. That's all I've got to say. Mark, thanks so much for being there. A little bit crackly, but we got you in the end. the end. That's really good. If you have anything else for the net, sir, before we move on, KC8FTV from GM0UB. Back to you, Mark."

"text": " Well, Mike, thank you. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. I really do appreciate that. Thank goodness for Echo Link. You always have Echo Link when everything else fails. Always, always good for a backup, that's for sure. I'm kind of in the same boat. I've done some digital stuff for ... I think I've got myself my head around the digital ... The issue system, C4FM, wires, X's and that. I think I've got my head around all that. It seems to be pretty straightforward. Of course, I have had the Anytone 878UV2 Plus and everything else for some time now. When I try it, things still happen. I can hear people and they can't hear me and different bits and pieces. Then they listen to something, then they get switched over to something else, all these different things. It's just a little bit more of a learning curve. Just have to spend more time on it, I think. But I'm the same. Had it for a long time and it's so much of a mystery. So many things, so much of a mystery, that's for sure. But anyway, Mike, we'll just keep on plugging away and learning together. I'm sure we'll get there, that's for sure. I often fail trying to make digital connections with the Anytone. Let's go back to my ACU radio, do YSF to DMR in the hotspot. It's so much easier to me anyway. Mike, thank you. I was going to ask about your wife Jane there and how her wrist was doing with her arm. I know that you had that accident some weeks ago now with Bertie there. Sorry to hear that you had to have her wrist or arm rewired about a week ago. So like I say, I was going to ask him and thanks for the report there. So I'll send our best to myself and Helen, lots of love and hopefully she'll recover very, very soon. And five business on Bertie, seven months old. Our only audience turned six months old yesterday. We're having so much fun as well as the other stuff as well. Anyway, back to you Mike for anything else. G7MVH from GM0UB."

Well, all I can say is I had been talking for a bit and then I heard the first caller and then I heard Declan and then another one and brother Randall and Randall heard me first as well. So yikes, I really, really was fast on the draw today and sad to say you couldn't hear me, Graham. I'm deflated here, I really am, because I never do that, but I thought, you know what, I can get this on All Star and I was quick on the draw and then nobody heard me. But hey, that's amateur radio, that's why we have so much fun. Although I'm gun shy now, because I'm scared to try again, right? May not, I don't know, I don't know if I can handle that. Rejection. Okay, now that I've ragged you too much there, Graham, we're doing good in Memphis, it's in the 60s, nice enough out there, a little on the cooler side and got off work early and had a little bit of food, not much, we're still looking for something to eat. And so that's what's happening here, Graham, and looking toward a good weekend with a little bit of rain here. We're glad puppy Odin's doing well and the other gentleman's pups there and Robbie Ray, we still need a pup here, she's been looking at some. Let me turn it back to you, Graham, and then we can get Robbie Ray chatting, y'all hear me too much all the time. But good to hear the young Declan there as well, and Will and everybody that's been on. KY4NV, back over to you, Graham. All right."

"text": " Ah, very good. Well, do enjoy the WWDX contest there. It's something I used to participate in. I used to do the CW weekend. I really enjoyed that. Sometimes the SSP, I'd plug the microphone in and do some work, but right now, and I've said it for some time, I still do not have any kind of HF gear reinstated here. You kind of miss it from time to time. Yeah, the worldwide, the QM, the contest was always kind of good fun. Anyway, enjoy that. I didn't actually realize that's on this weekend, this SSP leg. So well, do enjoy. Do enjoy. It's always good fun. Just pick up a few and give a few points away, even if you're not actually looking to win any kind of part of the contest or whatever. It's always good to just give a few points away, maybe even get a new country in the log. You just never know. Well, it's always a pleasure, sir. Thank you. Thank you so much. Enjoy that and enjoy church and enjoy your weekend, but indeed, please stay safe and stay well. And we'll look forward to speaking to you again very soon. So we'll say 73 to the bronze medalist today. That is KJ5, Golf Whiskey November. And let's go and find out what's happening with Randall. He's out here in Spring, Texas. K5, RLR. Randall, welcome, sir. Happy Friday. Randall, the mic is all yours. Go ahead, please."

And that's Greg out there from the, only from the Daphne, Alberta, and, oh sorry, Alabama. Oh goodness me. Oh, but I'll put people into different places around the world. I do that all the time. I really do. Anyway, Greg is, well, he's already heading his way across here to the UK. And he's going to do a wee kind of holiday and all the best. But yeah, yes, we are hoping to have a wee kind of eyeball. So myself, Helen Queen of Scotland, maybe even Odin. I'll have to wait and do the fine-tuning. But yeah, Greg is heading across here and he'll be doing a holiday in the UK. And he'll be passing by apparently next Thursday. So, we're looking forward Thursday the 4th of September. And have a wee eyeball with Greg. So, honestly, this is a wonderful, wonderful night. I love chatting to people. Man, I'll tell you, the idea, look, I'll have a wee eyeball with somebody. That would be absolutely wonderful. So, yeah, I just wanted to let you know there that Dave, where hopefully we're going to have Greg here. And we'll try and get a couple of pictures and all the rest and put it on our Facebook page. But there we go. But anyway, he hasn't checked into Dave. He wasn't too sure where his connections were going to go and be, when he was going on all the kind of travelling and everything else. But I just wanted to let you know. So, there we go. Anyway, that's it, Dave. Back to you. Thank you so much. And this is GM0UUB. Looking forward to seeing Greg next Thursday. There we go. Back to you, Dave. Thank you. GM0UUB."

"text": " KJ5, Gold Whiskey November from GM0UB. Well, thank you so much, Will. And hey, listen, if that's cooling down, we are an awful lot cooler across over here. But yeah, good stuff, good stuff. And it was, I suppose, that time of year when things do start to cool down here in the northern hemisphere, that's for sure. So of course, out here in the UK, we've experienced some, you know, a few actual, what they call, heat waves. Man, I'll tell you. But it has been a very, very warm or hot summer, and compatible temperatures and everything else, over here in the UK. So I think that, I don't know if they're still working out the statistics to see if it's been the hottest ever summer, but we'll just have to wait and see once the stats come out. Yeah, definitely things are kind of cooling down over here, and the sun's going down much earlier in the evening, and yeah, things are just getting a little bit kind of cool, and that's no problem at all. So well, anyway, Will, it's great to hear from you there, sir. And I think you said you're heading out to get some chicken wings or whatever it might be. So is that, are you going to go to your favorite restaurant or takeaway or what it might be? I'm not too sure. What's the plan, sir? And I'm beginning to salivate. I'm sure many others are as well. So yeah, where are you going to go for your chicken wings? If you don't mind, I've just been nosy now, Will. KJ5, TWN from TM0UUB."

And thanks for sharing all the various bits and pieces you do there, Jeanette, we really do appreciate that. And there's some wonderful, wonderful nights. I'm usually too tired after this one to go to a happy hour. Of course, it's late over here in the UK time, but, oh, I try. I do try. And, yeah, and I've tried the litter box as well and they check in there. Again, it's all kind of too late, all quite late. But the Amateurs for Christ night is actually a little bit early at UK time, so it's easier to check in there, that's for sure. And that's a great place for fellowship and everything else. And, you know, I don't think, well, I don't know, I'll need to check with Jeanette there, but I don't think you need to be a kind of, you know, well, you have to be a Christian to check into the Amateurs for Christ night or can people with any questions or curious people, and they may be searching for something, can they check into that AFC night on a Sunday as well? So this is not preorganized. This is a live question to Jeanette. So we hope you don't mind me asking there Jeanette. Over to you from GM0UB."
