So yeah, and I know what you're saying there. My parents, you know, when they had their 60th wedding anniversary, we were going to have a big party for them and all that. And then I said, let's, we're going to invite your friends and all this and that. And they said, all our friends are dead. Anyway, thanks, Woody. Have a great day there. Let's go to Mr. Terry, A-E7MR from KK7's even net. KK7's the end of that alphabet, so my chromo. I'm the oldest of eight. We lost about older twin before the first of the year to pancreatic cancer. So we're going to"

"text": " Good afternoon, this is VE7JSO and yes I'm in the Greater Vancouver area in Pitt Meadows and I just recently got my license December 10th. So for today what I'm doing is we're going, myself and my significant other, are going to a Christmas party potluck and I'm preparing sangria. You kind of got to let it rest for several hours and I'm going all out fancy, adding a little Grand Marnier and brandy and my dad's homemade wine. It's a Portuguese style, very strong red wine. It's not diluted so it's a heavy, heavy wine. He doesn't measure the alcohol, it's likely 20% or something. So this is going to be very good sangria. I think everyone's going to have a good time tonight. This is repeater station kilo, kilo seven. Well it certainly sounds like it. Hey that's fantastic. Alright well nice to hear from you Jason. Welcome to the hobby and the service of course. Hey when you're done with your report, we always like to finish with our call sign. That satisfies the regulations and lets everybody know you're done with your report. So I'll hand it back to you and say welcome once again. This is Jack, KI7RMU. We do three social nets every day of the year here on the PSRG Puget Sound Repeater Group and you are always welcome my friend. Back to you VE7JSO, KI7RMU."

"text": " QST, QST, QST, good morning and welcome to the Worldwide Friendship Net. My name is Dave, I call sign Alpha Bravo 7 Delta Whiskey and I'll be your host today. This net starts at 7 am Pacific time, 10 am Eastern time and 1400 UTC right now. That's got to change pretty soon here. This net is open to all amateur radio operators worldwide licensed and we'd love to hear from you so people like to check in. Before we begin the net I'd like to thank the following people for the use of the reflectors and repeaters. That would be Michael Walpus, W8MW for the use of the very nice 9617 Michigan reflector and 9617 Michigan conference server which we're on right now. I'd like to thank Darrell Wilford, VL1UKZ for the use of the do drop in and the do drop in for linking those in so that we're all together here this morning. I'd like to thank all the node owners and all of you for being here because without you guys we wouldn't be able to link this net together. Emergencies take top priority on this net and every other net on amateur radio. If you have an emergency that we can help with, please break the net with a double break and we'll stop the net and see if we can help you out and move on with it from there. This is a popular net and to make it fair for all users check ins lasting more than 4 minutes including mic drops may be muted by net control. I have a question of the day for you as I try to every weekend that I'm doing a net. Today is if you can have dinner tonight with any famous person past or present who would it be and it can't be your spouse. So the question of the day again is if you could have dinner tonight with a famous person past or present and they don't have to be alive either who would it be and not your spouse. Let's take our first round of check ins and make that a short time and mobile or a short time more mobile and we'll get you in here and get you out quick. Come on now with your call sign slowly in phonetics and twice please. P01 UKZ, P01 UKZ, short time making lunch."

"text": " KVW this is KJ5 IRQ returning for the last time. So I would disagree with one thing that you said. The military needing to rely on credit cards is crap. Complete crap. If our dummy senators and our stupid congressmen can continue to get paid before our service members get paid, I think that's pure D4 crap. 100%. No, I think that's crap. Plus, most people in the military are young. They don't have financial security or credit yet. I mean, think about it. Most people in the military are between the ages of 17 and 25. So no, they don't have the credit, credit cards and stuff like most 40 or 30, 40 and 50 year olds would. So I think that's an awful, awful, awful predicament for soldiers. Did you know that a lot, and I'd have to do some research again, but a lot of our service members' families live off of Rick, live off of food stamps. They can't afford to feed their families on what they get paid as a United States service member. And now we're not paying them because our elected leaders are stupid and want to shut down the government? Yeah, I get a little upset about that. Anyhow, I think it was a great night. I enjoyed it. It wasn't very political, which is a nice fresh break. So I really appreciate everybody's input. And until we do this again tomorrow, I bid you all a fair and fond farewell. We are going to join the worldwide friendship net. Thank you, my dear. We're going to join the worldwide friendship net in progress. So please hold off on checking in until they ask for check-ins. But do check in. They enjoy everybody who checks in. With that, this is KJ5IRQ, saying 73. Returning the net to its regularly thing that it's supposed to be."

And you're pretty solid into the All-Star side of things, so that's really good there. Alright, you have a good rest of your day, sir. And keep following, keep coming back. And so with that, we're clear with WG8M. And we'll now come out here to Junction City and we'll see a lot of Terry, KE7MR. K6MOI, I'm feeding Alpha, FSL, with my micron. There's not a lot going on here. I'm waiting on my shower. Usually I'm just getting out of the shower, but they had some other priorities, so unfortunately I gotta wait. Anyway, still looking through that care package for Kp2R2Q. Haven't seen it as of yet. But the other stuff is finally came in, so I'm good to go there. So, that's the weather-wise. We are overcast at the moment. Haven't seen the forecast as of yet. With that, I imagine if it's overcast and it was like 62 degrees earlier, it's probably not going to get very much. With that, thank you for bringing them in, because you can't trick them in. I'll break us over, not grow them in. In case you're telling them I have E7MR out. This is Repeater Station Kilo Keylo. Alright Terry, thanks for coming in. I'm sure it could be a little bit daunting having to wait on somebody to get things done or anything like that. Wish you could pass there Terry, and I'm sure they'll come and help you out when they can get to it. I hope they can very soon. Alright, we're clear with E7MR. Let's try KN4 LPF one more time. Are you back with us, KG7YFP?"
