"text": "One thing we do is all of our educational meetings are on Zoom, so all can participate, they can listen, and they are archived. So they're all recorded and archived under our educational presentation tab on our website, which is psrg.org, that's psrg.org. So yeah, check out some of our past educational presentations, educational meetings. Otherwise, the reoccurring events on Saturday, the Radio Club of Tacoma is going to have their open house, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday, go to the Radio Club of Tacoma, their real live clubhouse, and enjoy Ham Radio Fellowship and coffee and donuts and snacks Yes, just in general, it's a great space and a real clubhouse. So that's every Saturday from 10 to 2, and then every Saturday evening, 8 p.m. in the Seattle area, there's the SimplexNet. So the frequency for the SimplexNet is 146.56. 146.56. And it's another great way to not only keep up with your Simplex skills, but see, test location and your radio equipment, antennas, and get constructive feedback from other hand radio operators. So the SimplexNet is in the Seattle area, frequency 146.56."

"text": "Thanks, Kevin. Yeah, if I stand in just the right spot, I can make my speakers hum with an HT. The only other weird one I've had happen, I have a humidifier that if I transmit on the 220 MHz band, the humidifier pumps out much more steam, like it goes into overdrive. That's kind of weird. Thanks for joining us. And next up, and I hope I got your call right, V3OKZ. John, welcome to the net."

"text": " I am here, I am here, I am here, I am here, I am here. Yes, Horton hurts me sometimes. Um, and generally well, this morning, for instance, I woke up. And that's always a pleasant surprise. Oh gosh, what did I do? I had a writing class, but I didn't write anything. I just took some notes. And I just was just, well, just starting to scramble to write some thoughts down into bullet points. And um, and it was, I mean, I was so thoughtful. The, our prompts, the reading, it was long. It was about, I don't know, about seven minutes, eight, nine minutes long. And uh, and I, we only had thirty minutes to write. And I couldn't get started. I mean, I could have scrambled something out in a few minutes, but it wouldn't have been a whole essay or anything. By the way, there's a brass band playing outside. And I'm looking out, I'm moving my microphone so I don't get off mic. Sometimes I forget. My figure eight microphone. I hear them. Brass instruments being played. Unfortunately I can't get up. There they are. Well, of course you can also hear I've got Oregon Trail Sound. Let me turn this off. Listen to this. I don't know. Let you even hear that. So I should stop talking. There's nothing I can do with this background. Anyway, so, uh, and I don't know who they are. They're like a punk brass band. You know, they look like punks, but they play brass instruments in the middle of, well, in the evening at Capitol Hill. Oh, on Veterans Day, on the 11th, the Veterans Choir are going to be, we're going to be singing and performing at Pierce, Seattle. A nice long half hour set. And I guess we start singing at about 1pm, about 13 hours. 33, Rebecca and all my YLs and all the numbers that all my house KX, DCW, Jonah and Broadway back in that."

And when I'm traveling, whether I'm just here in Washington or if I'm like all over different states, I always take at least an HT with me with local repeaters programmed in and try to hop on any nets that I hear. So I really appreciate it. And really that's just about everything from me today. Have a great day, everyone."

"text": " Thank you VA3JYEKF5SSR. You sound fantastic Jay, I gotta first tell you that. You really sound good. And we are at 90 degrees here today. Our high is 95 and our humidity is 48%. So we're just not going to get down. In a few more days, like about three days, we're going to get to the three digits. But just like 101, so we've really been lucky this year so far. My plants are dying out there, but I'm saving what I can and doing what I can. I'm sure you understand that. And I think maybe that doctor, your dad's doctor or something didn't like fishing. There's nothing wrong with fishing. You know that, we do that. It's good for the brain too. It's a good relaxer I think. And Jay, it doesn't seem like there's nothing that would stop you. And it's just good to have you back. You sound fantastic. Let me throw it back at you Jay."
