"text": "All right, Rebecca. Hello. Hello. Good morning. I've got my coffee, and I'm still Jack KI seven army good morning Hey, everybody out there. Hey speaking of mesh there Sean I heard k7p al one of the founders of psRg many years ago heard burying another fellow talking about Hashtag bot BOT Hashtag bot not that well that's interesting. I'd heard about that somewhere else, but what is it so I added the channel to my mission core device and I'm getting a flood of information coming in on different channels there or different from different operator size and it's really interesting so I'm still trying to figure out what it's doing and what it is but it's really cool anyway yeah six meter net there are other six meter nets out there I know you can probably find them Sean and the Mike and Key guide to local repeater nets so I'll take a look at that too and see if I can't find one for you the one that I hosted and many others hosted as well after the new net yeah we shut that down for a while a while ago because the interest just dropped off but you know it's understandable but we'd still ran for a number of years which I thought was pretty cool anyway well you know and I am getting sick I am getting so sick and Rebecca I'll tell you why I'm getting so sick because I'm thinking about that stack of latkes in Emily's fridge and now Emily's driving away from them so we can't fly down there, pick up the latkes, bring them back, make some applesauce, I've already got the sour cream, and have some nice latkes. Happy Hanukkah everybody. KI7RMU."

"text": " Well that's great that Troy's helping you get all the fall chores done there. That way you can sit down and enjoy that football on TV for the Sunday. Always good to have some down time there and I guess you always do the trash on Sundays as well. So you probably have that project. So good hearing from you bright and early this morning there Mel and have a good rest of your Sunday. Let's see, with that we're at the bottom of the list here. You're listening to the World Wide Friendship Net. We're about half way through our hour and the question of the day is what's your favorite way to unwind in your free time? And you probably already know that I do a lot of hobbies to unwind and stuff. Recently I've been doing some bead embroidery, making little beaded brooches. I've got one more that I want to finish up that and we've been talking about what to do for our winter project. Not quite sure what that will be. Probably something with RC cars we're thinking of building some friends and mine. I read a lot of books and listen to audio books. So far this year I've read 246 books. So I usually read about 300 or so books a year. Sometimes a little bit more and I've been reading for 375 weeks. The Kindle app keeps track of that. All my books are on Kindle. The counting restarted a while ago when I switched to some EPUB books that were on a different format. But Kindle tracking has me at 1,038 days reading streak on that platform. I do like to get books in. I don't watch TV or movies anymore. So that's what I do when it's all quiet here in the house. So let's hear what you like to do. What's your favorite way to unwind in your free time? I'm not taking anybody anywhere can check in. But if you're mobile or short time let me know and I'll move you to the top of the list. Please come now with your call sign slowly and in Phoenix."

"text": " Okay, C7YFE, well thank you for that check in. Yep, indeed, just taking a walk, just being around other people. Social connection is good for the mind and body and of course just getting out and walking. So, yeah, the heat has been a real inhibitor, that's the challenge. We came back late Thursday night. I have not shared many details on this net, just here and there, little tidbits because I don't want to swamp it with our trip, but I will share on Facebook and I'll share as we go along. But I did share so far just that we had a particularly good time on the cruise itself. Cunard is pretty special for their afternoon tea and the ship was gorgeous, the Queen Victoria. But Florence and Corsica were hard, they're just not that accessible for people with disabilities. Barcelona was wonderful and we spent a couple days there and that's as much as I've shared. And yeah, indeed, I mean I think it's important to just consider what we do for our well-being, our health and well-being, even if it means that we're just recuperating. And I think that's an important thing to note, that sometimes just allowing ourselves to recuperate is the gift that we give ourselves and others. So all right, well hey, thanks so much for your check in. Great to hear from you, Dale. Okay, we're going to leave Roseburg, Oregon. We're going to head back to Kettering, Ohio and we're going to pick up Jim. W-A-H-H-U-B, your turn is mic."
