It seems like it shuts completely off somewhere in the six o'clock hour in the afternoon, no wait, wait, wait in the morning and then somewhere in the six o'clock p.m. part in the evening and then there must be times through that part where it does it too. So what I do is I just have this move now where I'll just crank, from now on I just ignore the cycling I just crank it up to full max for like maybe 40 minutes and then just completely turn it off by putting it to the low temperature and then I'll do that once in a while because you can't trust that the cycle on its own or you'll freeze to death so it's not doing what what it's supposed to do and that was the same one that I had in Toronto too so there must be something build into it that I don't understand. Anyway, so that's how I get around that. Also, well this is here what I like about Vancouver better than Toronto. We're always 10 degrees or there. I can't pretend that I get to revel in it but Vancouver, they are usually about 10 degrees about 10 degrees more than Toronto Toronto right now because earlier I was listening to breakfast television they're like minus four last evening and this morning and we're about five degrees so we're definitely a little bit warmer but we're gonna get our come up you best believe there there'll be a snow and other things here as well so except we're just a little teeny bit luckier than the East Coast I don't have to work right now because I was working a lot earlier I just had had some pretty good rest through through the evening in through the afternoon. I wanted to. I had good intentions, but it just never happened. But now, Madeline hooked me up with a Meshcore device, and I have it here at my QTH and university place broadcasting. It's just sitting there in a little window just trying its best. So yeah, but it's fun. I'm not great at keeping up with it, but I try and check in with my little mesh core at least once a day, usually at the end of the day. But yeah, it's fun. But yeah, I had a really good Thanksgiving. I made a bunch of vegetable dishes for my sister and family. We went to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and so I made a bunch of vegetable dishes for them to bring because it was a potluck style Thanksgiving. But I went to my friend Elizabeth's house who lived in Kirkland and had Thanksgiving with her family. We did like a Chinese food from a vegan Chinese restaurant in Bellevue and watched movies. My mom decided last minute to come up from Louisiana. She had been in Costa Rica for a while, which is where she's from. She took my brother to Costa Rica and then they reset. Yeah, so she and my brother went to Costa Rica and then when she got back to Louisiana she wasn't feeling it so she just decided to come up here she got back on a plane and came right up here to Washington so she's gonna hang out with us for a little while and yeah it's nice to have her we've just been hanging out just you know just hanging out low-key you know we don't need yeah we don't need much, but just each other. I use these things called star showers in the front and the back of the house and they're laser light projectors and they put out green and red dots that move and patterns that move and it keeps the deer away and one of the best parts of these things is that they have a light sensor in them so the Sun is up and it's bright they turn off and when it gets dark they turn back on again. Well I've had to replace the ones in the back because they were wearing out and the new ones don't seem to have any light sensor in them. It's usually right on the front you can see it has a little sticker over you peel it off and then works like a charm. These don't have that. These have a remote control which is exactly what I don't want because I want to just plug them in and walk away and then they come on automatically. But no these have a remote control like so many things that have remote controls now that really don't need a remote control and yet you know that's just another thing to lose and look for.
