Yeah, I gotta go to rehab here in a little while. Do my 2,000 steps and everything. And then maybe I'm gonna go to Costco and see what I can get in trouble with. Head back home, have lunch. And hope that appointment goes real smooth for you and you'll be able to be on demand and ready to rock and roll with us. Hopefully next year we'll catch you at CPAC. If I can go then I'm trying to get something going here. All right, we're clear with KV-70s and PBW. And next we have KZ7 LRS. KZ7 GHD down there in Arizona. Morning folks, we call them the Arizona lovebirds. The mic is yours, Joyce and Joe. Good morning there, Dale. Great hearing you, doing a great job as always. And good hearing everyone, all our friends. And just not hearing the porch, a little bit humored, but oh well. Not too bad. And probably will be maybe 100 today out here, I'm not sure. Had some lightning last night, but no rain. But tonight and tomorrow we got 40 and 50% finally I guess the monsoon starting to try and take shape here and give us some rain. And yeah, I saw on TV there the pictures of the flooding at six inches in one day in Tennessee, my lord. Never seen anything like it. It's just unbelievable. And then that big tree blowing on the car for that poor mom, dad, and child. What a shame. So, crazy weather, but we definitely need that rain. And really wish we could receive some of those tomatoes. Boy, I really thought nothing like homegrown garden tomatoes like my dad used to have. So anyway, good to hear. Glad Kathy's getting to feel better. And Robert, I hope your MRI went okay. And hi to Bud, Jeannie. We made it out there at two o'clock to the Scottsdale, the Simstill place. And a very nice doctor. She's really, really good. And we got home about four, I think, at 4.30, something like that. So, traffic wasn't too terribly bad. So that went well. So we'll see how things go now. And I'm going to let me reset. My friend, Rosie, coming over this morning is going to help me take something back to the post office. It's too heavy for Joe to lift, and we've got to get it in the box and catted, ready to come back. And then I'm going to have Rosie take a break. I'm going to have Rosie bring me over to our medical deal and go in to see the doctor or whoever. We've been waiting for the Bellage Medical to connect with our Walgreens to get Joe his thyroid pills. And would you believe it's going on two and a half, three weeks now? They cannot get together. So I'm not walking out of there until I have the prescription in my fingers. I'm happy to hear it. Oh, yeah. The ceiling will come in. Anyway, everybody take care. And over to Joey's. Hi to Rosie and Missy, KC7 LRS. Hey, good morning there, gang. KC7 CHD going ITEC here. And yeah, Joyce is mad at the Bellage medical doctors. And she's going to give them a piece of their mind over there. The thyroid medicine, you know, is supposed to be taken every day. And so they've been, I've been out about two weeks and we started telling them about three or four days before I was going to run out. And so Joyce is going to unleash heck over there and we'll see how effective she is. I told her, I told her, go farther, because you just get your blood pressure up and it won't do any good. And I told her, I told her, let's use psychological warfare when you go over there. Just tell that doctor that, you know, if she doesn't, she must not think the thyroid medication for me is very important. So I don't worry about it. You're my doctor, why should I worry about it if you don't knock? But I'm trying to get Joyce to take that psychological approach. Anyway, in the background here, I have a 90-day supply of thyroid medicine that's 20 percent higher. And I've been taking that, but don't tell anybody, especially don't tell the doctors over there. And, you know, how is she going to prescribe a medication for me if she takes a blood test now? And I've been out of the medication for three weeks or so, two to three weeks. So she's going to get it screwed up no matter how that doctor does it. Anyway, let me reset. I've got three pieces of business to talk about. Having a flat tire for the first time in, I don't know, 10 years on a short, short little ride we took with our bicycle friends on Labor Day and how I ended up calling my neighbor to come get me. And then we went back and got my car and transported the bicycle with the flat tire to the meeting place where the rest of us were having lunch. So that was a kind of adventure and today I think it's going to be a fix the flat tire so we'll be ready to ride next time. Second item, Dave will get a kick out of this, my son's transported his $700 sailboat, I mean it's a 38 foot sailboat, from Shaw Island to Port Townsend last week where it has been hauled out and the haul looks okay. He may be fixing the bottom paint but it's out of the water and sitting there looking very pretty. Thirdly, this is going to be good news, good news, good news. The other day, yesterday it was, yeah, I walked out of the house after putting some drops in my dead left ear and all of a sudden without any warning I started to be able to hear out of it. I'm like oh my gosh this ordeal that's been going on for a month of no hearing out of the left ear might be over. Well I wanted to follow the doctor's orders so in the back of this box it says squirt some warm water after you pick the drops. Well guess what, the minute I squirted water back in there it went back 85% dead. So I got on the phone with Swedish and I talked them into an appointment with this gal that worked with me this last Tuesday and by gosh she had a she had a open spot at two o'clock, 3 30 yesterday so my god maybe we can maybe it's getting loose maybe we can get rid of this thing and so I was in that his her chair for an hour."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8200000000000001,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-10T12:50:43+00:00","id":36838,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":36837,"text":" Yeah, you do. The call signs Victor Alpha 3, Fox River, November, Campbell and Northwest Ontario. And I've just been decoding FTA. Using my SDR in this program I don't even remember the name of, but I'm getting a lot of Canadian stations and a lot of American stations, but looking into it I can actually click on the call sign and bring in the QR's in. And they actually have a lot of information about the radio they're using and how many watts they're broadcasting out. And I managed to get somebody who's broadcasting one watt on a 40 meter band using FTA and all the way from Saskatchewan. And that's quite a far distance from me. And yeah, it was quite interesting they managed to broadcast that far and I'm able to get it. I can't really transfer back as it's an SDR, but I've been looking into it and I'm quite interested in FTA. Yesterday was homecoming after school, a football game, didn't really stay. Went home early, got released at 2 o'clock and usually school ends at 3. So there's one hour early release day, which is nice. And I got my license and now finished over on the town for an hour to pass the time. I've been fairly close to the school, I live about a block away. But yeah, anyways, when I have back now, thanks for taking the check in. Sending care to all B83 FBM back to you."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8200000000000001,"confidence":0.9219796166700476,"created_at":"2026-06-27T19:12:38.554846+00:00","id":126985,"node_number":"683210","recording_id":126987,"text":"2.50 at 2 o'clock when it started. Everybody took off for lunch. So nobody's talking to anybody right now. And we had a storm come through about 1.30. And it was hail, everything. But didn't last long. Anyway, I don't know. OK, y'all, I saw a story about this kid in Houston that had complained about his parents beating him. And so they did some tricking and found out that the head being. So they took the kid away from his parents. And Judge was going to give him to his grandparents. And his grandparents, they found out when he would stay with them, they'd be, too. That would be amazing. I really would. All these rough seas and everything else. You know they've got houses that are actually set up to float if they wind up off the coast. There's a house I know by a river around here that they have 55 gallons of strong sealed drums that are underneath the house. And they may have sold floods in the water. That's one thing. But this? Wow. Who knows? Let's see. In kind of a crazy two days I came up to the mornings yesterday, dropped off the trailer for an owner-operator because the regular driver was hurt. And nobody bothered to call the owner-operator telling him he started to work that day. So I found out on class night that, hey, can you go up there and take a trailer with 13 drops on it, 44,000 pounds, and do what you can. They think I can get it all done. I left the yard at 2 o'clock this morning. My first delivery was at 7. I got that off. I'm not ready to go to my second delivery. But here's the problem. I've got to be heading back to Kansas City by 11 to make it within my 14 hours. So I don't think I'm going to get the whole load. I don't even think I'm going to get half the load off. But we'll see. So that's what's going on with me today. So I will be kind of in and out. So if you call my name and I don't answer, that's fine. Next turn around I'll probably break you there, okay? Sometimes no sleep is better than broken sleep. I really don't like broken sleep. Often times when I fall asleep on the couch, which I do quite a bit, I'm usually watching TV and I'll just flake out. I'll wake up at 2 o'clock in the morning and I'll be like nah, I'm not going to go to bed. I'm nice and warm. I like the nice soft fuzzy fleece blankets on there. It's just nice and warm. So I just end up going to take a leak and then I'll jump back in underneath the blankets in the couch because they're already warm. That's the way I look at that one. Then I get woken up by the cat. I mean Dewey woke me up this morning licking my arm. I mean it's unnerving when you're not expecting it, you know, sandpaper licking to your cat tongue on your arm. It's very unnerving. It snaps you awake so quick, right? But he doesn't mean to wake me up. He just wanted to make sure I was still alive. I'm sure the ghastly sounds I make when I'm asleep probably scared the hell out of him or something. So he just wanted to make sure I was okay. I just reached over and gave him a little scratch. I put this ottoman next to the couch that I lay stuff on like when I'm laying back, you know, my phone, my vape, a couple of remotes, you know, things like that. And normally what he'll do is he'll get up and he'll swat those things off the ottoman. And if that doesn't wake me up, then he'll reach over and either reach out a paw and tap me with his nails out like just tap, tap, tap. And that's enough to sterile you. But it's those licks, man, that really get me, freak me out. And then I just reach over and, you know, give him a scratch and he purrs and he just typically lays down and leaves me alone. They're like these cats, they like to sleep really close. The only one that doesn't is So-So. And she sleeps in the same room like she'll lay on the back of one of the couches, you know, in the room. But the other two, I mean, Shadow, he wants to sleep on the couch with me. Like he'll sleep like down between my ankles or between my knees, usually under the blanket or on top of it. But that's where he likes to sleep. And Dewey, he'll just, you know, sleep on the next couch. Or if he wakes me up, he'll jump up on that ottoman that I was talking about. He'll sleep like right next to my head. But when you got three of them, like So-So never bothers me. She'll sleep all night long. I'll wake up. She's in exactly the same spot she was in. But the other two, they'll move throughout the night and wake me up usually. All right. Let me reset here."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8200000000000001,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-17T21:09:09+00:00","id":62782,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":62781,"text":" Well, the first one is at the service at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Shoreline.
