"text": "from golfers, Sierra, Zulu, Lima. Yeah, okay, well, I, um, I don't like the, uh, the UK weather. It's, uh, it's too cold. It's, uh, too, uh, too wet. I love, I love the warm weather, and, uh, that, actually, 100 Foxtrot and above would do me fine, and I'd live in the, uh, somewhere like the Arizona desert or something, so it's nice and warm. Um, I'm a bit, a bit unusual like that, but, uh, Yes, when we were young, working in different climates around the world, some really, really hot for maybe a couple of months, and then to go somewhere really, really cold. I got acclimatized to the nice warm temperatures. So, somewhere warmer. We don't get that warm over here in the UK at all. What we did is last summer get to 96 Foxtrot for two days running here in South Wales. I was waiting for it to go to 100, to take over the three digits but never did. But that's unusual for us, very, very unusual. The Met Office here in the UK said that within 10 years we might be getting 103 to 113 degrees F for weeks on end in our summers if the climate keeps going the way it actually is. And of course again we have harsher winters as well to go with it. So there we go. I prefer some of the weather in the US. Florida is quite nice. I wouldn't mind the hurricanes. I could trade them off with the warm Florida weather. But somewhere nice and warm. I still like the Four Seasons, but if not, I can put that back to you from Golf Whiskey 8 Sierra, Zulu, Viva."

Jack does a lot of it, the noon net, during the week. But there's a whole host of us, and you can see what we're all like. But I'm glad you enjoyed the net today. If this is your first net, it definitely seems like a call sign I was not familiar with. So welcome. And yeah, other than that we are here three times a day and you can join the party. Thanks for asking. Okay, let's see here. Next up is \u2013 oh, let me drop a sec."

"text": " Hello everyone. I am using a different radio today because I tried checking in a couple weeks ago and I think I wasn't hitting the computer so I got a look at the slide, but I'm glad that this one is working. A couple of quick comments before I begin my report. Anne, as far as your book synthesis and playback, I didn't hear your complete report so I might be missing details, but see if you can use some kind of text to speech system and just load the folder up into something like FUBAR 2000 or a media player of some type, a different type of media player of some kind that can just play an entire folder. There are things like 11 Labs and 11 Reader out there which is sort of an AI voice based sort of thing. The problem with that of course is if you are putting hours and hours and hours of text through it, that is going to be not cheap to run. So definitely give that some thought. There are various packages out there for that sort of thing. As for the Shawn and your Windows machine, look into Windows 10 LTSC, the Long Term Servicing Channel. That should get you updates until I believe 2035. So that might be a solution for that as well."

So mark your calendars for October 20 to 23 and look up. Burnus also mentions here both of those comets have been traveling for tens of thousands of years, just a swing by during our meteor showers. Talk about timing. Imagine circling the sun for 20 millennia and still managing to show up fashionably on time. OK, so that's excellent."

"text": " All right, let's go back to Mike and pick it up with him k1 MDR. Hey Mike Morning everybody I actually got in the first time I called in this time. Hey yay but anyway No whole lot going on with me Still kind of riding high from the awesome show we had which is awesome, and I decided last night I probably shouldn't have but I did you know we all have those moments that Pulled the trigger on a new radio Hopefully it'll be here probably it's gonna take probably about a month or so to get here to the new yeasoo c4 FM radio Probably gonna put it in my truck and take this this one out which does not do the c4 FM stuff and When I get a little bit more versed in doing that I'll be able to talk digital in the truck as well as while I'm driving down the road, so Yeah, that's all I got going on Yeah bought a new radio and Unfortunately since it is a new radio not many places have it. I got it from gigaparts, but they're They've been shipping them, but they've been shipping them as they get them So hopefully I won't have to wait too long, but you know just what it is anyway That's all I got Oh credit report The little kittens are little furry terrors They're absolutely adorable today, though. I did get sneezed in the face by one of them It was actually kind of cute at the same time. I got splattered with kitten sneeze I went and picked up the second-born and I call her dose and Picked her up, and I was petting her and just as she looked me straight in the eyes and sneezed all over my face It's just kind of funny my my wife was on a phone call she works from home She does the Washington cares. She's a one of the agents for Washington cares and She even chuckled while talking to her customer About what had happened, and I didn't hear the customers end she apologized I'm sorry, but a kitten just sneezed on my husband, and it was rather funny watching my husband jump So I think the customer got a kick out of it, too, but anyway, this is k1 MDR now returning back to the net"

"text": " and everyone on the net. Get NBC, Boruxier, Mobile, SRO5 South in Bellevue, headed back home. Yeah, wow, what a day. We were up bright and early, went over to pick up barbecues from Jack's place and then throw them down at the picnic and then the picnic was just so much fun. You know, I didn't quite get a count of how many people we have. I'll have to wait and see. I don't know if Jack has posted his group photo yet. I'd be curious to go through a count and see how many folks are in there. But, yeah, it was a good time. And, yeah, thank you so much for Jack, for everything you did to help put all this together. Man, that was just amazing. And, yeah, Megan did some cooking. That was awesome. That was a good burger that I had, I will say. It was quite delicious. And then just, it was so great to see so many different people and I love this event because you get to get out and it just draws so many people from our community, so it's a lot of fun. And then, you know, we packed up the doggos and went back home and we were at home for a little bit and then we went up and met Robert and Cammie up in Bothell and now we're making our way back. Let me tell you, I am tired. I am going to probably get home and create the event. So, with that, I'm going to say thanks for doing it. That third bill, great to see you today. 7-3, everyone. The King Eye D.E.C. Thank you, Brooks. Well expressed. It was just a good day and I didn't know you were the one picked up the grills. That's a big job, getting them down there. Thank you so much. And thanks to, I mean, we don't know all the people in the background, but we certainly know you and, I'm sorry, you and Megan and Jack did yeoman work and we really appreciate it. It is my favorite event of the year. It really is great fun. Megan, come back and tell us what it was like cooking hamburgers for this friendly crowd. You did a great job. Over to you. Good evening to you, Bill and everyone out there on the night. K9MLR, Megan Mobile here with K9 D.D.C. So I have to say it was a whole lot cooler than field day was. Not only was it cooler outside, but also the conditions of being in the shade versus being in the direct sunlight at field day a couple weekends ago. I guess that was almost a month ago now, yikes. So yeah, it was a lot cooler and things went much better today. I kind of had fakes with that barbecue field day, so I kind of knew what I was in for and it made things go a lot smoother today. So it was a lot of fun and grilling for everyone and seeing everyone. I just love when big groups get together like that and watching people interact and all the banter and the conversations that come up. So it was a lot of fun. I was disappointed in the night market though at Embafel there. It was all a bunch of hype for not really much. So that was kind of disappointing. But nevertheless, a good dinner with Robert and Cammie and yeah, like Brooks is. I'm very tired. We were at my coworkers very late last night. So we have been very, very busy, but love this time of year and getting to see all the people and hang out and everything else. So thank you Bill for doing that. It was great to see you today. And thank you to everyone behind the scenes. Much appreciated. 73's K9 MLR. K9 MLR, K7W, well thank you Megan. It was just great. Perfect day, perfect weather, perfect people. Well, maybe not people are people. Love talking to them though. Well, thank you. I think that completes that round. Let me just double check. No, it doesn't. I'll just keep screwing up. There we are. We're going over to KK7YHH. Come ahead."
