Thank you for taking my call on this nice net. It's kind of nice to be able to check in on a Tuesday night. I usually don't get this opportunity. Anyway, the name is Dave, Delta Alpha Victor Echo. Called Alpha Charlie 6 CG light Coast Guard QTH. It's Hayward, California here in the East Bay, the San Francisco Bay Area. Looks pleasant evening here. And we're doing some work and turning on the radio and listening to the astronomy net earlier on the Colorado Sky Hub. And that's always fun on Tuesday nights. And I jumped over here and was able to jump into the TSRT net. And I'm using a radio that I haven't used in a while. One of my old favorites, Kenwood TM742. Hopefully it sounds good. And I haven't turned this guy on in a while. So let's get the cobwebs out of him and get him on the air here. It's kind of nice because I can listen to more than one All Star note on it because it's a multi-band radio. So that's kind of cool. Anyway, thank you much again. Nothing too exciting here though, we're finishing up a fence and kind of getting the yard ready for the fall, so it's going to be a working weekend but it's a bit warm up here this weekend so it's going to be in the 90s so probably not as much outdoor time as I'd like but going to try to get as much done as possible. Thanks for checking in tonight. All right, no one else over on YouTube. I don't, let me send my emails real quick, see if there's anybody over there. Nope, nobody over there and nobody else on the net logger. So we'll continue on. All right, what are we going to continue with? The bulletins for this evening. For those of you who may be interested in ISS passes over your local area, the visible ones anyway, actually if you're looking for all of the passes as well, but right now we talk about visible passes. It's a little more interesting to see, but also you can, oh, oh, oh, oh, track them during the day for those of you who like to work satellites or see where the ISS is or work some of the satellite TV that they do every now and then. Right now, you may want to check out this website, www.heavens-above.com, that's www.heavens-above.com. And the one reason I like about this particular website is it gives me a nice list of the visible passes over the Denver area anyway. But put in your home coordinates and you put in your home coordinates and you can log in and it will come up with fairly accurate time for the ISS passes. Most of the ISS passes over the Denver area are transitioning from morning to evening in the next 10 days, so that's nice. You don't have to get up so early, you can stay up a little later. One thing I like about this particular website is I can click on a particular date of interest for a particular date of interest for a particular pass, and I get a nice large star chart which I'm displaying over on YouTube right now. You can take a look at that and you can see the path of the ISS through the skies and relate it to the various paths that it's going through. And that's it. That's all I have for you. Thank you."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-02T22:09:03+00:00","id":30911,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":30910,"text":" Alpha Charlie 6, Coast Guard AC6CG in and out."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-11T21:47:22+00:00","id":37765,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":37764,"text":" Alpha Charlie 6, Coast Guard AC6CG in and out."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-11T21:51:02+00:00","id":37769,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":37768,"text":" Hey, thank you very much. We've got the temperature over here, we've got 53 fox shots at the moment, so it's warm for us, especially as we've just gone past midnight, so technically we're into Saturday morning now, so it's been quite a nice day, no rain, I like the report, no rain because we always get a little bit of rain, most days here, a little bit of drizzly type rain we had yesterday, but not for long, and today's been mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals, but you know the temperature's been very very nice, especially for this time of the year, in fact we had a very very warm summer, I think it broke all the UK records for the temperature we had here over in the UK summertime, and we even had, believe it or not, two days and hit 96 fox shots in a row in the afternoon, and I absolutely love that temperature, I could actually live with 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day of the year, no problems whatsoever, that would suit me down to the ground. Let me quickly reset. WASL continuing, the Met Office have said, they've done a long range, really long range sort of forecast, and so within 10 years the temperatures and everything in the climate go in the same way, one of their computer models said we can have anywhere between 103 and 113 fox shots in 10 years time, and our summers will be warmer and longer, and our winters will be more severe and also longer, so if I'm still around in 10 years time and they're right I'll be happy, at least for the summers there. Go to Mil and I all the way through eight states and including New Mexico and Oklahoma and ends in Santa Monica there in California. So, you never know if that happens at first, you know, we might meet up there in California. That's one thing I wanted to do. It wouldn't be on a motorcycle, the original one on a motorcycle of course. But, you know, it will have to be an RV. It's not getting any younger there at all. But, you know, that might happen. I mean, we don't know yet. If it can happen, it will. And, okay, thanks so much for checking in. It's absolutely fantastic hearing from you again. And don't be a stranger. Thank you for taking my call and good evening to everyone on the net. This is Dave, AC6EG. QTH is portable 6 and NAPA this weekend. But I think we're going to get some rain. Hopefully it won't rain too much. I think it's partly cloudy tomorrow, and we may have more rain by Sunday. But anyway, be that as may, we probably need the rain anyway. So nothing really planned this weekend. I have some work to do for work, so I'll be probably busy with that. And I was going to play a little bit more radio. I was going to try to put up my loop antenna a couple weeks ago, and then never took advantage of it when we had sunny days. And so now it's going to be raining, so I don't think I'll probably do that this weekend unless it clears up. Probably need about a couple hours to get it up there and then try it out. And that's one option. The other option was to make a long wire antenna, but I need a special balance, so I'm going to order one of those probably tomorrow and try to experiment with more than one antenna for HF. Anyway, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. As I understand it, anyone can listen in or watch the technical presentation. I guess that's tomorrow. That sounds very interesting to me. And you said it's also recorded. I guess that's on the PSRG website if you could just confirm that. And I'm using a new microphone and any comments on the audio. I'm using my PC today rather than a radio. So this is Alpha Charlie 6, Charlie Golf, Dave and Napa, and I'll say 7.3s, and back to net control."}]}
