And the only reason Grossy got in before me is I'm in my car and even though I got 50 watts, the antenna's not as good and the location's not as great. So, and let's see. Oh, rain in, let's see what else. So I was watching the Seahawks game last night, on and off. And I realized on me when it was getting done at 8 o'clock or whenever it was that it was, it's back east, it's 11pm. Those folks are at the game, they're not going to get home after midnight. Have to go to work on Monday? Oh well. So, I don't understand the scheduling of these games. I think it's all down to money. So, but, so I, I bought a bunch of wire fencing to lay on my lawn to keep the raccoons out of there. And I'm going to try a couple other tricks. And I don't know, it's, it's discouraging. So, I told Kathy I'd like to shoot him, maybe get Grossy under. She said, yeah I can't do it, but someone else should get someone else and shoot him like Grossy. Make yourself a Davy Crockett hat. Anyway, I've talked too long Jack. Thanks for having this great net. Back to you sir, Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta Mobile. Thanks for watching."

I didn't get up till after 9 o'clock. And the gentleman, I am going to get a driver's license. If you're over 75, they make you come in. I'm assuming that's why. But it was just a renewal. I was worried I'd have to wait in a big line. I couldn't get a reservation. And when I got there, they said, oh, you can't get reservations for that. And it went really quick. I was in and out of there in five to ten minutes. I was amazed I was over in Redmond. And let's think about paper plates. Maybe Jack should get some lead weights for the paper plates. I don't know. I'll probably leave here about 1030 and I'm going to drive around the north end of the lake. Because people start trying to get to the Husky game and it's going to be a nightmare today with the rain and the wind. Trying to get into a parking lot or find a place to park. When I was going to the university, we used to park all the way south of Montlake and walk, hit a tavern on the way, and have a couple beers and then get into the game. But if you're on the east side, don't even try 520. I don't know. So anyway, that's about all I have. Thanks for the net. And gosh, I can't imagine it's going to get windier than it is now. So, well, back to you Dana. Everybody have a safety out there, this kind of weather. Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta."

The other day when I checked into Rebecca, she was doing your net. Do you know Jack has a 30 different suffixes that can go behind it? Rebecca was just going through it like crazy. That was cute. Anyway Jack, you're great. And let's see. What's going on? I worked out, started out about 9 o'clock this morning. Worked about 11, 20 and then I checked in on the late portion of the net. Down here cooling off. I'm going to take a shower. Did some cutting and cleaning outside. Blew out the sprinkler system which required me to walk around the house about a dozen times. Every time I started to see if it was actually getting the water out less dry, when I turned it on, three sprinkler heads obviously froze. And I had to dig them up and replace them and that's a big pain in the ass. So I made sure they were pretty much out of water. Water runs downhill so hopefully the lowest one was blowing just there and there won't be any more water in it. Anyway that's all that's happening here Jack. Going to have a little lunch and Kathy goes to the eye doctor to something. And besides that, not a lot going on. And it's supposed to start raining. That's why I went out and did all this work this morning. Alright Jack, thanks for having this great net. Everybody have a safe day. Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta."

Jack, the kitchen antenna is still working great after several years. How about that? It hasn't worn out yet. So Jack, anyway, making a nice cool carrot pineapple salad for lunch, and I tried out the new mower, Jack. Now this might sound really strange, but like it's a big downgrade. My old one was an 18 inch. This is a tiny little 13 inch. And I was a little skeptical at first, however, however, I am mighty impressed with this little thing. It actually mulches better than the big one did, and because the blade is smaller, it doesn't bog down. And the other advantage is the ground is very unlevel here, and the little one actually does a better job than the big one. How about that? Back to you, K3OE."

This is kilo Delta 7 Papa whiskey Bravo Dave It's a handle and I'm here in Central Oregon coming to you via all-star node through the PS RG repeater in Seattle, Washington And hey, I'm listening for KM 7 Charlie echo November David what you got going on come ahead Good morning Yes been an interesting week Getting used to the radio getting used to talking trying to also get used to phonetic Alphabet which is an interesting someone made a suggestion that I should as I take walks down the street Look at two times and try to convert it to phonetics So I get practice on that The hardest challenge for me on that part is actually Understanding and translating the other people's call signs and getting it right So I'm working on it. It'll it'll like exercising a new muscle Also had an interesting story to share I was taking a walk south the gas station here on Mercer Island and interestingly enough I watched an SUV fill up their peak and drive off with the hose They went down the street memories running in block content horn Running down the street to try to catch this person and get their hose back So yes an attendant Terry just like ten foot hose back down the street One of those oh my gosh moment What else is going on still waiting I got my ticket on August 30th, and I'm waiting for my I filled up the application to get my father's call sign Which was WATLV and I'm still waiting to see when if the SEC will grant that to me I would love to have it. It's very memorable to me as a child and that was about 60 years ago Pretty much what I have another beautiful day in paradise and Wish everyone well today and back to new control 73 In kilo kilo 7 November Quebec November Hey David great to hear from you as always and good luck getting the call sign there of course You know the good thing about it when somebody does that with the Gassos is that it does have a breakaway and it does have a shutoff valve there Which immediately shuts everything down so you don't get a giant torrent of gas pouring all over the place Yeah, we've all seen that I think we've all seen that happen. I don't know But yeah, oh man there you go, so Embarrassing moment I'm sure so there you go. "text": " Well, I guess it's my lucky day, a list of one, thank you. So, recently I installed this lip mount antenna thing on the back of my engine cover on my car here. I don't want to drill any holes in the car, so I'm trying this lip mount, a fan lip mount with a fan dual band antenna. It seems to be working pretty well. And just temporarily I've got, I took my old TYT TH9800 radio and I've got it sitting on the street. Not the street, the seat. It's kind of just a very set up, eventually I get everything installed nicely, but I'm kind of waiting for a couple of things to happen. Anyway, so it's morning and I come up to my car and turn on the radio so I can check in and the radio doesn't come on. And I check this and I check that and I go, oh, no power. I mean I push the button for it to come on, no power. So I went up and got my multimeter, okay, cigarette lighter's good, cable that to the radio's good, what's going on? So I went up to my little storage room, my second bedroom, and got a box that Jack had given me a few months ago, another TYT TH9800. This one apparently was previously owned by Kirk, sorry I don't call his name off hand but we all know Kirk. And I came in and it looks great. So I don't know, I guess I've got to do some troubleshooting on my old TH9800. It's not a fuse, it's something internal. So anyway, this has got me up and running and so I'm going to have a chance to check in. Sorry that Steve is still having his ear problem there. I know he's already gone all the routes of emergency room and that stuff, so I think he really needs, this needs the ear specialist. There must be some other one, I don't know, just October. Seems like a really long ways away. Anyway, hey, the sun's starting to come up. It is a cool week today, it's only 72 at the moment, driving north on I-5 up by Mill Creek at the moment. Everyone has a great day, KI-7 DEI."
