"text": "CM0, UUB from GW8SNL. Good evening, Graham and Hairy Helen. I wouldn't dare say that in Helen's presence. I'd definitely have, I'd have to defend myself, say hi, hi. Yes, Storm Claudia started up around midnight and it's kind of down a little bit now. The rain, no wind, but the absolute rain was phenomenal. Obviously, it came up from the south and it was named by the Spanish equivalent of our med office. And coming from the south, we have no natural protection here, so we took the brunt of it. Talk about rain, we've estimated that we've had 3 months rain in 12 hours here. There's lots of flooding about, I haven't caught up on where and whatever. The M4 motorway is flooded here, there and everywhere. Oh and I was out in it earlier on a couple of times and what a nightmare. I don't know what it is but when it starts raining heavy, everybody seems to drive a lot faster than they normally do. So we had the two extremes, the idiots driving like maniacs and the people who were actually driving so cautiously they were becoming a hazard themselves. You know what it's like there, Graham. But no, my head is still above water, so I can breathe and I can continue with the net there. Back to you, Graham. GM0UB from GW8SZL."

There was a 2021 study in the Journal of Nature, stating that the forest is releasing more carbon in the atmosphere than it's able to absorb. Deforestation is constantly pushing the rainforest to the point of lower return. So, we're getting very close here, according to all these reports now, to a tipping point. Once that tipping point is passed, there's no clear idea exactly how catastrophic it's going to be."

"text": " General relativity, it's like a shopping list really, I guess. It's got three main categories to it. It's the geometry of space-time, that's the warps and curves in space. So gravity, in other words, because gravity is what causes the warps and curves in space. Distribution of matter across space, and that's the source of gravity. And again, that's the cause of warps and curves in space, too. And the amount of energy within the fabric of space-time. And every cubic meter and centimeter of space contains energy. You can't vacate any amount of space of its energy. So that's the three main categories of general relativity. So general relativity mainly covers gravity and its effects and its origin."

And the General Engineering Company of Canada, and that was Canada's biggest World War II munitions plant at the time, had around 21,000, maybe a little more than 21,000 employees. Most were women, predominantly most were women. And that plant was located in Scarborough, Ontario, I think it was. And their job ranged from assembling the bombs to actually packing the bombs with the explosive material, TNT, trinitrol-tululene. And that is toxic. And they were exposed to this toxic explosive. And so we had not only our radium girls, but we also had the radium bomb girls too that were working in highly hazardous conditions."

"text": " So the goal of this research, just to encapsulate it here, the goal of this research was to see as time goes on, as climate changes, more permafrost is falling and permafrost at deeper levels is falling. It's given scientists now pause and these microbes that are deeper down in the permafrost can rejuvenate when the temperatures are conducive for them and once this happens, because there's so many of them there, the amount of CO2, carbon dioxide, and methane that's going to be produced may end up accelerating global temperatures, particularly in the Arctic region. So a lot going on with climate change. As I said earlier, the permafrost has been shown as it's falling to release methane from some of these microbes that are catalyzing and even some of these microbes that have been discovering it. These microbes have been seen before so they don't actually know how they're going to interact with humans at some point in time. They may be pathogenic, they may not. They really don't know at this point in time. But anyway, as permafrost is falling now, as our ice is retreating and permafrost is falling deeper and deeper, the concern now is these huge amounts of microbes may start producing a runaway effect of carbon dioxide and methane."

"text": " Aside from that, as more of these go up, it increases the odds of collisions happening. I think there's about 100,000 satellite thresholds before that occurs, and you'll start to see the Kessler syndrome. You get these collisions that are resulting in more collisions. And with a number confirmed and coming back down, there's concerns that are increasing that they may pull the risk of hitting people on the ground, and not just hitting but damaging structures, houses, buildings, vehicles, things like this. And there are around 20,000 objects constantly tracked in lower earth objects, and there's within 12,000 satellites. I think there's about 8,500 that belong to Starlink. And each of these has a life span of about five years, and are designed to burn up and try to get in the atmosphere. But some can make it to ground, not very many, but some can make it to ground. There are four of them now that are coming down each day, and as time goes on, you'll be seeing that increase to about five. And then you can see it increase further on as more go up."
